I love Skinner killing Krychek. Wished Mulder did it, but i loved Skinner doing it.
I love Kirsch as a character, he's so easy to dislike, and the actor does a good job.
I did suspect the alien rebels involvement (those aliens at the end deciding not to take her baby). I won't buy they were the evil aliens then suddenly decided not to take the baby (or maybe they realized it was human and not a human alien hybrid, but apparently Scully's baby is still the perfect human or something, somehow).
I also suspected the fbi ones might be the Rebels, or maybe no one is.
Even if Billy is one of the rebel aliens it doesn't make sense. So the aliens who originally dropped him off then were the rebel aliens? What? Things don't make sense, but it was a thrilling finale.
It was a nice scene at the end with Mulder and Scully and their baby.
Lots of Terminator-styled action in this season's finale. Skinner becomes a badass assassin, an almost ruthless killing machine for some reason. He always seemed kind of helpless "in the field" until now. Doggett is pursued by Super soldiers throughout this episode and he's just an action piece as we wait for Scully to deliver her baby. The Super soldiers converge on Scully and Reyes somehow, and then Mulder shows up and the soldiers all leave...for some reason?
But the episode scores with me as a potential end of the show. Scully and Mulder put a finishing touch on the series. But somehow, it's not over yet.

Holy shit, this was incredibly good! The ending scene was one of the best in 8 years! Looking forward to the last real season and we'll see how season 10 and 11 will be....

Mulder and scully finally kissing. 8 seasons in the making.
WOW! This, by far, is the best season finale! The garage/elevator scenes are reminiscent of T2, and Doggett's actor for the T-1000.
"You put me on the X-Files, and that's what I'm investigating.." haha the man is just doing his job! Doggett and Reyes is a good match. Now it's onto season 9!
