Amazing episode!
Loved seeing how they created their own Thanksgiving traditions out of a unplanned situation. Rebecca and Jack are amazing parents.
I feel sorry for both Randall because he feels betrayed and lied to, but also for Rebecca who thought she was doing the right thing to protect her family.
Now Kate is right to put herself first, even thought Tobin is a great guy, she needs to be happy and if losing weight is what will make her happy she should focus on that and not give it up for anyone else.
Just some general thoughts on the storylines as they progressed through this episode:
Another amazing episode, we don't really celebrate thanksgiving here in europe but in a way i think we should, although we'd call it Christmas i bet. the struggles Kate is having with her weight and her realization is hitting pretty close to home with me, the whole ep is about how important family is and how fast it can be torn apart by little things or by big things. Can't wait for the next ep i honestly do love this show.
this family is amazing! #cit
Beautiful episode about their traditions and incredible acting by Sterkling K. Brown.
I thought Kate dumping Toby was a mistake, so I'm glad he's back- though they never really delved into why Kate said she couldn't date a fat person. Chiefly because he's not that big, especially when compared to her.
I'm glad Kate stood up for herself and broke it off with Toby. It seems like the right thing to do.
But I really dislike how Kevin brought his manic pixie dream girl to a family Thanksgiving, especially after she told him nothing will happen between them again. And it's not like they had chemistry as friends. Really not a fan of her character at all.
Freakin crying at the death explanation speech.
