Rebecca Pearson is my hero.
More subtle and effective than the post-Super Bowl episode. Centering the episode around the family car initially sounded cheesy, but ended up working well.
The show continues to make me feel things about inanimate objects. Sigh! I would’ve loved to see a breakdown scene from teen!Kevin about his father’s death, though. He was eerily too calm and collected during the whole thing. Could this be when he started bottling things up?
episode title is The Car, not Across the Border
What a beautiful episode, I look at Dustie the same way.
A new episode?
THIS week?
I am about to watch it right now … I just need popcorn and tissues ^‿^

Aaaand there we have it, Kate is broken. Luckily we know nothing is beyond repair, right Toby?
It also reminded me of one of the last few good Supernatural episodes, about their Impala (S11E04). It's amazing how things can come to represent so much of what's happened around them. "Emotional value" doesn't even begin to describe it.
