I have to say, I like Jack II's story much better after Kate puts into perspective that though her having a child was damn near miraculous, it came at a price. Doctors weren't advising against it because they had an ax to grind, there were several legitimate concerns. We should be glad and grateful that both him and Kate survived but at the same time I'm glad for the show not taking the easy road of a perfect outcome against all odds.
