I’ve said it before. I’ll say it again: You’re a star, Nicky. You steal each episode, whether it be happy or sad or light or tragic. Unapologetically you, you flawed wonderful old man.

This whole Nicky and Sally thing was so realistic & touching. And I loved Rebeca and Sally's scene.

Extremely slow moving boring episode.

That awkward dinner was great in most aspects. Felt so happy (even cried tears of joy) when we saw Nick actually made the wall, though his face is not showing there. Generally a good and needed episode for Nicky, who can now be less stuck in the past and actually become happy. Really looking forward to that.
The story with Deja visiting her boyfriend was also really cute. Let's see how the ex-girlfriend might complicate things, though I hope we've seen the worst of her here and future appearances will be... better, for the lack of a better word.

Nicky is quickly becoming one of my favourite characters of the show.
Great story line and a wonderful performance by Griffin Dunne.

A little forced together but some nice reflections on the powerful forces of love, nostalgia, sickness, and even a little bit of death for good measure. Nicky’s story is a mess, but he might be the only character I’d watch a spin-off of.

How do they do it? Make me bawl my eyes out every episode.
