Hosted by Morgan Freeman, Through the Wormhole explores the deepest mysteries of existence - the questions that have puzzled mankind for eternity. What are we made of? What was there before the beginning? Are we really alone? Is there a creator? These questions have been pondered by the most exquisite minds of the human race. Now, science has evolved to the point where hard facts and evidence may be able to provide us with answers instead of philosophical theories. Through the Wormhole brings together the brightest minds and best ideas from the very edges of science - Astrophysics, Astrobiology, Quantum Mechanics, String Theory, and more - to reveal the extraordinary truth of our Universe.

I love this show. Don't know if it is scientificly sound like someone mentioned but it gives me a lot to think and discuss about and that's made it worth watching.

The show however has zero scientific integrity and you can't trust anything on it. Quick checks online reveal that much of the content is being chosen purely for entertainment value even when its provably false. Take the "God Helmet" for instance. It generates a magnetic field one million times too weak to penetrate the human skull and have any effect on the human brain. The "scientist" is simply putting suggestable people into a sensory deprivation chamber and using the helmet as a prop. Why watch this, when there are really good documentaries out that actually care about scientific integrity?

P.S. I love Morgan Freeman's work on this series, his presentation is nothing short of captivating, but he might as well be reading from the national enquirer.
