Toradora! 2008

I love my rom/coms and my tsunderes and Toradora! certainly did not disappoint. It's one of the best anime rom/coms that I've ever seen (tied right with Clannad) and is a must watch if you have any interest in the genre at all. While the overall story may be a bit on the predictable side, there are plenty of surprising twists and turns along the way. The characters are what truly shine in Toradora! in how they develop and depend on each other to how each one of their flaws and fears are gradually revealed. The voice acting and music are superb as well. This is truly one of the best stories about the development of true love between a "Tiger and Dragon". Just watch it.

Pretty entertaining series but is a bit heavy with the melo-drama. You could always foretell that after a certain period of "happy-times" something would come up to get everyone crying.

A very fun and lighthearted high school love story about two very different people. This is a classic for anyone who enjoys the see types of movies.

This Anime fits right in there with the best other rom/coms. I enjoyed the development of the characters throughout the story and while I guessed the general idea of what was going on, there was plenty of twists along the way that I didn't fully expect. If you want some serious who-loves-who drama, this Anime is perfect for you.

i watched this a couple of years ago and i really liked it back then. now as an adult i realize it has a lot of flaws and things that make the show a bit less enjoyable. taiga is a stereotypical anime girl who doesn't look her age and who has been purposefully made to appear as a little girl. then we have ami who appears to be older. the sexualisation of these characters (who are minors since they go to high school) is something i cannot look past. i know it's anime but i believe you can tell a good story without the unnecessary and annoying fanservice that it's shown in this one.
leaving that aside i can see why i used to like this show when i was a teen. the development of the characters and the angsty undertones of the story are its strongest points in my opinion. the ost is another good point in its favor.
so basically it's a good anime but it could have been better and it's no longer one of my favorite shojos like it used to be back in 2013.

Brilliant! Look, I'm a lapsed anime whore, deep inside an otaku little shit. And this show spoke to my love of really cheesy, chill, romance driven anime and I am so glad I watched it. 10/10 would recommend.

It was only through anime that I became aware of my love for rom/coms, and Toradora! brought it out onto a while new level. The characters have personalities that you can relate to and the storyline .... it's just one of those shoes you can watch all over again and still be impressed over its ability to pull you into the story and not get bored. It had some of the best voice acting I've ever heard, not to mention it's ability to keep you entertained while still giving you something to think about. If you haven't watched this show, I'm going to ask what are you waiting for?
