Ever since Life on Mars I watch what I can with John Sim. I wasn't dissapointed by his performance here given that he had a limited character to play with. The story is not awful but at the same time not really involving. It's all just building up straight to the expected finale. A finale that ultimately wasn't really satisfying. While I can follow the arguments of the doctor there is still no justification for what he did and there should be a form of punishment. As there should be for the father who gets of scot-free because the Doc wasn't pressing chargers. Maybe that was his way of saying "I'm sorry for what happened" but I still felt cheated with the conclusion. Luckily it's only two hours.
