Yash Kashyap and Amaya Sinha are in love with each other. They are students of JBLR Media College. During an award ceremony, Amaya wins the best actress award, but Yash is furious for not winning the best director award. Later, Yash breaks his relationship with Amaya.
Motivated by Vishal, Yash is confident of directing his film and casts Pratik and Simran as the lead pair. Amaya is sad upon being humiliated by Yash. The principal wants Amaya to focus on her academics. However, Amaya is passionate about her film and shows her concern for Yash
Yash motivates Simran and Pratik to act. Simran confronts Yash for replacing her with Amaya for the lead role. The principal suspends Yash for fighting Pratik and also stops him from making the film for violating the rules of the college. Yash vents his frustration on Amaya.
Amaya makes her mother, the principal of the college, realise that she has taken a hasty decision by suspending him. Amaya is instructed to attend a job interview. Vishal makes Yash realise his arrogance and love for Amaya. Later, Yash convinces Amaya and Simran to complete the film.
Pratik is furious at Yash, Amaya and Simran for trying to shoot him in their film. Although Pratik complains to the principal, she permits Yash and Amaya to shoot their film. Yash wins the 'Best Director' award during the inter-college film festival. He apologises to Amaya and they reunite.
