When the episode hits right, man it's a perfect 20 minutes. When it's completely out there and just not funny, it really falls flat. Overall though, a solid animation with some very dark ideas at times.
The show ran as long as it had to to build its world and make its point - short and sweet. I still think it's great.
For a guy with a demon girlfriend who's job involves extensive knowledge on every possible creatures culture, he sure knows shit all about demon culture.
