I would have given this series a 5 star, but the last season was very disappointing. Love the first three seasons. Amanda and Mark are two brilliant characters!
This was a great show. I'm going to miss it a lot more than I expected! I'm really impressed by the clever writing and character development. Marc, Wilhelmina, and Amanda are awesome characters, but I love every regular character on this show. Also, America Ferrera has never been and will never be ugly, lol
Funny and forwards for the time while still being a bit fucked. Idk. In the end I found it heartwarming and I thought the ending was strong. Almost every plot line was closed and every character fulfilled. In the end Betty chose herself, a choice that stands with her strong characterization from the four seasons.
Took me two years to complete the series. I wanted to keep the soap opera vibe going. I loved every second of it!
I watched the whole series and I never liked it to be honest. Probably because not my type! But I also didn't like the acting and performance sometimes, it felt wrong, somehow and lacking something. dunno. It's just my opinion.

This show will always have a special place in my heart. It was one of the first shows that I watched week to week on TV. Although Betty frustrates me at times, she has one of the best character developments. In fact, all of the characters have tremendous growth throughout the seasons. Characters I used to hate, like Amanda, I ended up loving by the end. Lots of drama, emotional moments and comedy.
