I'm seriously wondering why they would cancel this show. There are multiple meaningless show's that at least had 3 or more seasons. Smh
A really good show with with great acting and good camera work. But the choice of music is f-ing horrible. It is supposed to be a period piece. The new age music kills certain scenes.

I have never heard of WGN nor of this show until I randomly read about the first episode on the internet the day after it aired.
After watching the pilot I can safely say that this show deserves way more attention. The cinematagrophy is amazing, the acting and the characters are great. The music was unexpected at first (it opens with a slave running to a Kanye West song) but I really liked it. Overall just a great start to a new show.
I'm very excited for the rest of the season.
