WHERE IS SEASON 2?? I NEED SEASON 2!!!
One of the funny things about the series away from slow action is that one of the secondary evil characters says that if the real culprit is caught that easy, the series won't be longer. In another episode, the heroine told her boss that he didn't have to worry about her because she was a good actress. Although it appear to be a dialogue outside the text, I found it interesting to add to the series as if to pronounce the tongue of followers and what goes around their minds.
"Humans change their minds all the time.. they are cunning creatures."
IsNot only were the characters cunning, but even the writer's style. We see him throw a stone and waiting to make us hear his echo, but alas I've known the snake's head since the first appearance!! That's why they failed to make a mystery.
the reason the plot of the events, or the bad expressions of the actors, which made everything clear as the sun, or is it the text!!!
The series is good in terms of production and not the characters, but there is something missing, which is the principle.. they look like fish trying to evade the fishing net more than they are trying to survive to prove a case..
The issue of the death of the passengers was not very moving, perhaps because of the bad scene of the crash, which left no image stuck in our minds. Most of their focus was cast on the killer's face, ignoring the innocent laughs of the children in the clip in a cold non-human manner free of any interaction that provoked feelings in the same viewer.
Most of the events were procrastination and delirium.. Many of the scenes were similar to things I had already seen before, as if I also see glimpses of Rambo, somersaults of Jackie Chan, screams of Bruce Lee and other things
You will not find an actual movement except when episode 12 reaches, then you will take a breath and say, What have I been watching so far? Am I deceiving myself or wasting time!!
The female characters were somewhat familiar, but the heroine was somewhat poorly chosen. I mean, I was waiting to see a wild, impulsive, intelligent, loud and strong girl, not a crying girl running after a ball of wool like a small cat!! I didn't want to see a woman adjusting her lipstick, doing her hair, and caring more about her appearance in front of the camera more than do her actual role..
Am I excited for the second season? Perhaps if Korea recognized itself as an independent filmmaker and stopped belittling itself and portraying America as something invincible...as if it is nothing more than a little boy trying to imitate his father while tying his tie...
I wrote a lot, I'm going to stop here because I'm tired.
Did I just watch a true-to-life movie series?
I. Story
Overall, the story was great. The number of twists and turn, unexpected revelations, the high level political game, and the multiple layers, made this series one of the best crime drama of this decade ('10s). However, it failed closing the story properly.
In the last episode (16th), it was obvious it was rushed. There was no direction. Everything the series built up from episodes 1 to 15 disappeared. It started awesome, then became great, good, and ended poorly.
It is common among creative writers to have an open-ended story but in this case the ending was not an open-ending, no, it was a cliffhanger intended to be a premise for a guaranteed Season 2. If the intention was to have an open-ending, it should have ended with them driving to the airport. Everything else after that scene killed what made it great.
I still give it 8 out of 10 stars for the story regardless of the disaster after the "driving to the airport scene". I also applaud the writers and director for not inserting romantic scenes just because their lead female is well-known for it.
II. Acting
Suzy did well in portraying an intelligence officer. This was a big change from her usual romantic roles and I wasn't expecting she can pull it off. Yet, in the first two episodes, she already shone in her role, that's a sure sign of a talented actress.
The acting of the other actors were superb. I usually see them in dramas about family and relationships, seeing them portray political and intelligence roles was refreshing and in they owned the characters they portrayed in series.
Together, the acting were too believable I kept thinking I was watching a fictionalised true story. The characters were too real, all thanks to their acting and synergy.
III. Production
Did I just watch a 16-episode (16-hour) movie? It was clear they spent money on "Vagabond" to get it all right. But in the last episode the explosions were very bad. This was the other reason why I said earlier that anything after the "driving to the airport" scene should not have been included.
IV. Overall score
All things considered. I give it a rating of 8 out of 10 stars. The superb acting and quality production were what pulled it up, and for avoiding creating romantic scenes just because they have a great romantic-genre actress as a female lead.
A series I'll watch again in the future but not the scenes I mentioned earlier.
Vagabond is a blockbuster drama with top notch action, cinematography, and music. I liked the second half of the drama better than the first and I think that's because "Vagabond" comes more into play.
This drama isn't the kinda typical Korean drama you see everyday, this is actually different in a unique kinda way. Its story is based on true facts happening in the real world in terms of government policies, corrupt bloody acts of the government and how negatively it impacts on the lives of the citizens.
This drama deserves its praise for a high production quality and intense action scenes (quite comparable to Hollywood i must say). Great castes and impeccable acting. High emotional and nerve wrecking scenes.
Its filled with complicated plot twists, that were really annoying and got me racking my brain. That only made the drama more intriguing and entertaining. I enjoyed it! The romantic scenes between the two leads were really funny and lovely, my face hurts from all the smiles I flashed anytime they bring up the romantic feels, but most of all top notched action scenes, that really got me tensed and kept me at the edge of my seat at all times.
or a drama being entirely pre-produced, i'm really mind blown. I mean Korea rarely take the risks of pre-produced dramas being aired, at the risk of not satisfying the viewers. But this drama is so so good. The fight for justice and power in this drama is just so balanced, can't be explained in words.I must credit the male lead too, NO ONE COULD HAVE DONE JUSTICE TO CHA DAL GEON'S CHARACTER LIKE LEE SEUNG GI DID! His acting was on another level, very much different from all Korean actors I have watched act, his emotions were right on point. Honestly, i became a big fan of him after seeing him act in this drama, he is such a good actor, I was so impressed. This is way better than King2Hearts
Bae Suzy look a lot like Park Shin Hye ; which is the reason i put off from watching this. Bae Suzy acting needs some work but she is better looking than Hye.
Believe it or not conspiracy dramas have their tropes too and this was a whole bunch of them thrown in together. Some parts of the plot and acting were very corny. Some of the characters were very cookie cutter villain. You only have to watch a couple of these types of dramas to figure out who the real mastermind is. If this is your first conspiracy drama, you'll probably love it. If it is not, you'll probably find the plot mediocre; but nevertheless i enjoyed it despite guessing the real mastermind on the first episode.
The reason i rated this highly because i watched this after K2 ; which actually has better actors but a shitty plot.
I cannot wait for Season2 ; i think it has more potential if writers get their act together and don't make obvious plot cliches.
wow this show was amazing!! the drama was great and cast was amazing! damnn this needs a season 2 after the ending...

Convenient and kind of mediocre. After trying the first episode, I wasn't convinced it would be worth giving the rest of the show a chance.
The character writing starts off pretty well, with drama is pretty basic, and Cha's relationship with his nephew is a great set-up, but it's unable to maintain this level of strong writing.
The spycraft isn't all that impressive. In order to cover up a phone call to the airport police call centre reporting a vague threat against the airplane, the bad guys immediately set off a fire alarm and within seconds, before there's a chance for anyone to talk about anything, there are call centre operators screaming in the hallways (these are supposedly trained police officers too!) and the operator who handled the call is assassinated before she can tell anyone. How do they know who took the call? If they're capable of all that, wouldn't it have been easier to just cut off the call? Nah. Murdering a police officer in plain sight is easier. Plus the assassin looked pretty cool!
Also, how can you freeze what looks like be a 5L cylinder of compressed oxygen by spraying it with maybe 500mL of liquid nitrogen? Why would freezing it increase the pressure inside the cylinder? Why does this make the cylinder explode like a bomb? How did the explosion take out the engine of a plane? Why is Cha immune to gravity?
