From a 5-score for episode 1 it slowly goes up to a 6-score (~5.6) for this episode. No good words for it any further to be honest. The Van Helsing story is so rich, but you see nothing of it in this show so far; such a shame with such a brand.. Just like in episode 1 the acting and overall quality of the show is really low.
I liked this episode a lot better than the first one, even if the show still seems kind of cheap.
I liked this more than the first one but I think it still needs to find its pace. Most of the characters are unnecessary, all the military tough act was excessive and wasn't actually useful, I just don't see the point and the subplot with the Romanians feels just awful.
I have to say that I actually enjoyed the flashback with the kid and the day to day life and the actual realistic problems. That part felt like a different actually good show.
Not sure how long I'll be watching this.
That is the worst thing I have seen on TV for quite some time. First ep was average but this was unwatchably bad.
Good episode but it jumped all over the place. Otherwise this isn't a bad show. Just due to the title, I expected another Wynonna Earl type show. But it's more serious and less B-Movie like than I expected.
Which is it though, a vampire situation or a zombie situation ?

This one should've been the pilot. It would definitely make us feel more empathy for both Doc and Ted once we watched her locked up and his betrayal, and the story would've flown better for us viewers.
I did like the bonding between Axel and the Doc, I can't wait to see her getting cured.
