Well, talk about heartbreaking. Drummond's dead, Lehzen's gone... A rather bitter sweet ending. I applaud, though, how cool everyone seemed with Drummond and Alfred's prospective relationship. I kept waiting for shock and disdain, but everyone was so open and receptive. The Duchess was the biggest surprise. I thought for sure she would be disgusted when presented with even a hint of a homosexual relationship. But she was totally empathic and supportive. I have to admit though, I'm still confused as to what role Lord Alfred serves in the royal household. He basically seems like the male counterpart of a lady in waiting.
