A pity that always stupid kids are stealing screen time from the real interesting characters in animes.

As someone who read the manga this episode still hit quite good, tho I think it could've staged a lil better. Anyways still a great finale. For everyone who thinks next season will even increase in terms of action and violence be prepared it will not. What we will get more is tragedy and suffering. Brace yourselfs.

I hope Canute can carry a show. Interesting that Canute didn't harbor any resentment towards Askeladd at the end. Farewell best character.

I wish there would have being at least one scene where Askeladd and Canute would have discussed how exactly Canute gonna try to bring his vision of better tomorrow to reality. I mean slavery, pillaging, rebellions, attacks from neighboring countries - is the way where you can get rid of any of those elements in that age without massive bloodbath?!

Storyline overall seems too naive so far. And don't even start me on boring inhumane main character.

I did not see that coming! What an intense season finale. More!
