With a wish to earn HING’s repentance, CHING accompanies him to his hometown. Finally, HING realizes his family means a lot to him. He hopes to reconcile with WAH, nevertheless, he gets cold shoulder as WAH is still angry with him about KEI’s imprisonment. Realizing that he will not live long, KONG no longer objects to KEI’s decision to marry CHEUNG. KONG instigates WAH to seize power from HING. HING gets to know WAH has a private meeting with the directors of Dongshan Commercial Bank. In the hospital, HING forces KONG to sign an agreement. When WAH is hurrying to get the agreement back, he falls off a cliff accidentally. After failing to save WAH’s life, HING is left with deep regret and sadness.
