In this episode, Becky's plans for the last day of summer vacation are interrupted by Tobey and his latest robot creation; Chronos, created with the intent to stop time and prolong summer. Wordgirl must find a way to stop the robot and still make time to enjoy her last day of vacation.

WordGirl apprehends Big Left Hand Guy when Invisi-Bill left.

During the height of soccer fever, Becky and friends (T.J., Violet, and Johnson) decide to practice soccer on the field with Mrs. Botsford as the coach. Meanwhile, Dr. Two Brains has a brilliant plan for his henchmen and himself to have a picnic every day while the weather is nice. Problems arise when Mrs. Botsford and Dr. Two Brains realize they have the same field reserved at the exact same time for the same duration of time. They decide to settle things with a soccer match between their two teams: "The Butterfly Unicorn Laser Gorillas" and "The Cheese-Eaters". Which team will win the field?

It’s Valentine’s Day in Ms. Davis’s class, and Becky is determined to give Scoops a Valentine this year. When he shows her one for a special friend, she eagerly asks him who it is for, but Victoria Best interrupts, stealing all the Valentines. When WordGirl tries to recover them, she is stopped by Tobey, who offers WordGirl a Valentine. Victoria Best is jealous of all the attention the WordGirl is getting, and she causes a disagreement between our heroine, Tobey, and Scoops. In the process, Tobey challenges Scoops to a duel, stating that the winner will be WordGirl’s Valentine.

The episode starts with Granny May taking a Christmas Card photo of her cat, Colonel Mustard. Before she can take it, the mail arrives, with it the latest issue of the Candy Dish Enthusiast magazine. The magazine has an article about Cleopatra's candy dish coming to Fair City, which Granny plans to steal. She pulls off a robbery at the bank, but tricks the police that the security guard did by having them close their eyes "for a surprise" while she puts a stack of bills into the security guard's pocket, then giving them cookies so as not to arouse suspicion. WordGirl, who heard of the robbery on the news, arrives on the scene, but too late–Granny May has already "foiled" the crime. That night, news of Granny May having given up her evil ways to fight crime show on TV, and Granny claims to have been using her intuition to stop them.

Becky, growing tired of her responsibilities to keep villains in line as WordGirl, is looking forward to much-deserved recreation time when a documentary of The Pretty Princess and Magic Pony Power Hour airs on TV. Unfortunately, just as she is about to sit down and watch it with her dad and TJ, Dr. Two Brains hacks into the TV signal. Becky then proceeds to cry "NOOOOOOO!!!!!"

The Amazing Rope Guy to save the day before parent-teacher conference day is ruined!

WordGirl gets the chance to be on Scoops' very own talk show. During this segment, WordGirl and Scoops reminisce over the various skirmishes WordGirl has had with Dr. Two Brains. The segment ends in a cliffhanger when Dr. Two Brains himself uses his goop ray to take over the show.

Doctor Two-Brains takes control and gains back his dignity by humilitating Wordgirl. He shows several clips of her and Captain Huggyface being defeated, but WordGirl counters it, stating that they are all cliffhangers. Two-Brains and his henchmen continue to irk Wordgirl, but while they're busy laughing she takes the opportunity to take back the show.
