The cast from Breaking Ground continues their respective journeys to WWE during sports entertainment’s biggest weekend in history. For some, dreams become a reality, while others are sent back to the drawing board. Go behind the scenes at WrestleMania and the WWE Performance Center to witness the highs and lows of these hungry superstars.

The Performance Center hosts tryouts for hopeful athletes competing for the opportunity to train to become WWE Superstars. ZZ, a young recruit from Louisiana, arrives at the performance center to begin his NXT journey. It’s a rocky start, as the physicality of the first day of training threatens to burn him out before he even gets started.
The men and women of NXT travel to Texas for a three-city live event tour. Looking to broaden their appeal beyond their Full Sail faithful, the Superstars showcase their skills in the ring and do some extracurricular exploring of the Lone Star State. Meanwhile back in Florida, Josh struggles as he transitions to a new career and character.
An injury threatens the status of Jason Jordan and Chad Gable, while distance isn’t the only issue keeping The Hype Brothers worlds apart.
As Cal Bishop continues his injury-plagued return to the ring, Tino is helping his brother start his own journey to NXT. Meanwhile, Tyler Breeze gives some pointers on character development to several NXT Divas, and Nhooph and Nia Jax see their NXT careers begin to take shape.
The NXT Superstars and Divas go on the road for a series of live events in Louisville and Nashville…but not before taking a detour at a haunted hospital. Also, the Performance Center welcomes its newest international recruit, Lovepreet.
As some young NXT talent show they have what it takes to make the live event roster, others make a bad first impression. Carmella is anxious to return to the ring after her injury in Nashville, and ZZ gets back to his roots by helping out some four-legged friends.
Tino Sabbatelli makes a mistake that could cost him his spot on the roster, and Sami Zayn struggles with his place in WWE as he recovers from injury. Meanwhile, WWE legend Scott Hall visits the Performance Center and imparts his wisdom on the roster.
NXT TakeOver: Respect is on the horizon. Bayley is anxiously preparing to make history, while Tyler Breeze makes a new friend. And, as Sami Zayn continues his comeback, Nia Jax makes her television debut.
In the Season Finale of Breaking Ground, all roads lead to NXT Takeover: Respect, where fans will witness the conclusion of the prestigious Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and an epic showdown between Bayley and Sasha in the first women’s Iron Man Match. When it’s all said and done, one Superstar will get that fateful call up to WWE’s main roster.
