The dreams of many will become the realities of a few as men and women from around the world are given the opportunity to become WWE Superstars in the inaugural episode of Tough Enough. As judges assemble in New York City to evaluate the skills of 400 potential candidates, only 13 finalists will be selected to begin this unforgettable journey.
After 13 finalists were selected, their journey to becoming WWE Superstars has only just begun. As their vigorous and exhausting training kicks off, the weak are separated from the strong as these contestants find out if they are Tough Enough. Plus, Tazz gives the house a special wake-up call before they get down and dirty.
The groups learns what it takes to play the game when Triple H pays them a special visit. After discovering the sacrifices that are made in the lifestyle of a WWE Superstar, one contestant reevaluates their priorities and decides to leave the competition. The relationship between Nidia and Chris becomes complicated when romance gets involved.
After losing Jason on the last episode, Bobby Jo and Victoria question whether or not the journey is worth the destination. The group goes on a special trip to SmackDown when Al Snow is scheduled for a match. Plus, Stephanie McMahon stops by to take the girls out to lunch, problems with Daryl continue to cause issues in the house, and more.
When Pat Patterson comes by the house for a special dinner, the group must come together to prepare a special meal for the WWE Hall of Famer. However, when one contestant refuses to pay his share, tensions rise. With the first cut of the series hanging over everybody's heads, Daryl's attitude puts him in a tough position.
While their journey to the WWE roster continues, the group is treated to dinner at a very unique restaurant where Maven reveals another side of himself. While the contestants gather to watch Raw and SmackDown, Josh decides that some things are better done alone. The pressures begin to have an effect on Shadrick.
After Kurt Angle stops by the training facility to share his story, the group is rewarded for all their hard work with a trip to the Bahamas. While most of the contestants use this experience to bond, Big Chris finds himself on the outs with his fellow roommates. Paulina's recent injury may cause her to exit the competition a little early.
The trials of their intense training begins to take a physical toll on the contestants. With Josh, Nidia, and Greg each suffering injuries, morale in the house starts to wane. However, when The Hardy Boyz and Lita stop by for some words of inspiration and time in the ring, the contestants are motivated to continue their journey.
As Greg makes a trip to the doctor for his recent injury, his future in the competition is put in jeopardy. Big Chris and Josh receive two special visitors from home. In order to relieve the group of the effects of their intense training, Al Snow introduces a new game that could spell humiliation for two contestants.
When Mick Foley shares the hardcore truth of the business with the group, Chris doubts whether he can make it as a WWE Superstar. After, Maven takes some time away from the competition for an illness in the family, Josh is left wondering if his own priorities are in order. The contestants gather for a new physical challenge.
The contestants take a break from their training to experience life on the road for WWE Superstars as they travel to back-to-back events with Al Snow. Together, they receive a first hand education of what goes on backstage and get a taste of the lifestyles they are competing for. Big Chris takes the group out for a home cooked meal.
As the competition nears the end, the contestants are stunned when Stone Cold Steve Austin drops by the house for an unannounced visit. When the group goes out for another physical challenge, things get more than a little rocky. Plus, Ivory shows up for a little work out and gives the girls something to hope for.
The men and women of Tough Enough gather where it all began in New York City to see which two contestants will become WWE Superstars. As they relive the final days of the competition, take a special look at each contestant's final meeting with Mr. McMahon.
