Love the opening of Wynonna dancing and drinking after the emotional ordeal of dealing with Jack the Ripper (and the creepy Doc) along with the revelation of her dad working with Bobo. Wynonna tries to drown her demons in whiskey, but all it does is make her feel everything x1000. And one thing she can't deal with is her emotions. So she looks for a body to forget for a moment.
By some miracle, Wynonna comes into the office perky as the sun with a strut. But is quickly vanquished by a surprise psych eval, which pushes as the buttons that make the demons come back. Clearly mad at Dolls for not defending her, she ask for him to protect her, to care for her, but even he is a coward and let down. The badge comes first.
Now that the 7 who took Willa are gone, the next villain to take the lead if the Stone Witch and her demon children. But dealing with the witch means Doc dealing with his past.
After the last case, Nicole is getting suspicious about the weird and unexplained activity around town, and she won;t stop until she figures it out. She talks to the only person she can trust, Waverly. Asking about what's going on in town, unfortunately, Waves mistakens the convo about their attraction and what it means. Clearly they are not on the same page. (and it's hilarious). And frustating, when Waverly takes her confusion out on Nicole. Until she is given a challenge: figure out what you want. And that's all it takes for her to go after Nicole. Waverly likes to do things that scare her and since the moment she meet Nicole, she was scared. Scared of what she felt, scared of what it meant and scared of what it meant for her, but you she also likes Nicole and she won't know if she can handle it until she takes a leap, right onto Nicoles lips (over and over and over).
The episode moves the story along, a bridge between the ending of the seven and figureing out the next chapter and target for Wynonna. It's also a transition episode for Waverly, who is no longer tied to working at Shorty's and obligation. Now she has to figure out what she wants. It's also a transition in Waverly and Nicoles relationship. No more stolen glances or eyes that linger. No more murmurred interests or hidden meaning in simple words. It's time to acknowledge Waverly's interest in Nicole and if she is what she really wants. Time for Waves to own who she is. And it's also the transition of Shorty's as a haven for Wynonna to being owned by her mortal enemy, Bobo del Rey. This episode serves a as transition for everyone and everything.
Fav scene: the miscommunication talk between Nicole and Waverly. I live for this kind of scene. Comedy of errors.
Overall: the main storyline with Bobo and Witch is a 7, but Nicole's storyline moving towards Nicole is an 8.

Yay, Bobo! Now that's a good way to stake your claim as the main villain. So, there's more than 2 different "bad guys parties" here, that could get interesting.
Waverly and Nicole dancing around those subjects was amusing as well.
I do hate the "let's put the villain away instead of killing, there's no way that'll come back to haunt us" trope, though.
