When Sara is voted one of the Hot 30 Under 30, Ella and Ashly must convince her to go to the big celebratory party...but their motivations aren’t as noble as they appear. To impress her crush, Ashly invites her to the party and Ella needs a ticket to win the promotion from her nemesis.
Desperate times call for desperate measures. Ella and Ashly attend Sara’s cosplay game night in order to convince her once and for all to go to the Hot 30 Under 30 party.
Sara finally agrees to go to the Hot 30 Under 30 Party, but must attend a winners' happy hour. When Ashly abandons her in order to score another ticket for Jane, Sara is left to fend for herself. Meanwhile, Ella must outwit Daniel in a cutthroat game of dodgeball.
To prevent Sara from bailing on the party, Ashly and Ella build her confidence through their screwball version of party training. When Ashly’s conscience kicks in, she tries to abandon the plan and come clean to Sara, but Ella dupes her into thinking she needs the party to impress her crush.
Sara begins to suspect something’s fishy as Ashly and Ella struggle to conceal their plot.The day before the party, while trying on dresses, Sara pieces it all together and confronts them with the truth.
It's the night of the party, and the girls are splintered. Ashly and Jane are hitting it off. Ella bests her rival and is finally offered the promotion. Sara goes to the party by herself, but loses her nerve at the last moment and ducks into the diner next door where she meets her idol, Lynne Watson.
The night turns sour as Ashly’s scheme is revealed and Jane runs from the party. Ella turns down the promotion when she realizes she may not be all that happy in this new cutthroat world after all. And Sara? Sara is having the night of her life.
The girls move out of the apartment they shared and go their separate ways. Ashly’s crush wants nothing to do with her. Ella lost her job and Daniel. Things look beyond repair, but after an unconventional pep talk from Sara, Ella, and Ashly vow to make things right.
