Quid pro quo is a Flemish tragicomedy fiction-television series from 2015 directed by Christophe Van Rompaey that first aired September 10th 2015 on Eén. The series tells the story of four young criminals who have to do community service in a luxureous residental care center on the sea-side. Produced by Geoffrey Enthoven and Mariano Vanhoof of Fobic Films. Written by Christophe Van Rompaey (known for Aanrijding in Moscou) and Jacques Boon (Known for Pauline and Paulette, Vidange perdue). Tiny Bertels plays Vivian, the manager of the center, where Chris Lomme, Peter Faber, Marilou Mermans, Jaak Van Assche and Tuur De Weert play residents. Lize Feryn is one of the youngsters.
The series is mostly filmed in Knokke-Heist and Kapellen, but also on the E40 in Jabekke. The series was financially supported by the Flemish Mediafund and by Media, the subsidization program of the European commission.
