It's amazing how even at its saddest, this show is still really heartwarming, happy and sweet.

However, I gotta say, being a woman in power and having to stroke your male coworker's egos to earn some of their good-will and respect, doesn't seem right. It felt like Zoey was belittling herself to make the dudes accept her. I just don't think that's a good massage to send, you know?

Moonlight is a beautiful song, that reminds me of one of my favorite movies of all time, August Rush. Also, really enjoyed Sucker!

The writing feels better here, the jokes lands better - specially the ones coming from Mo's and Zoey's interactions (and Mo is easily the best character, hope she keeps dropping musical references back and forth), even though there are some sour spots and kinks to work out (Simon still doesn't feel like an actual person) and that pep talk with her co-workers which goes like "hey guys i'm stroking your egos in order for you to respect me as your boss instead of patronizing me" felt almost like a parody, but clearly wasn't built like that, which worries me a bit, but all of the rest seemed pretty nice and cozy - hope Zoey starts to take more advantage of her gift and explore it further alongside Mo.

We definitely need more feel-good TV shows like this one. The opening number was outstanding, and one again the entire episode went by far too quickly.

My only concern is that my TV episode tracker helped me remembering that the second episode was on. I am really afraid that the network will just get rid of that show for a very obscure reason. :-/
