It's really nice but it should have ended after episode 14 it would be a really nice ending
Can't believe all of the negative comments. This was a beautifully shot, well thought out story. Everything in it had a purpose. And that final shot was the clincher. This was a story about the human spirit.
It's a complete mess.
It's like the creators went thru an anime catalog.
I almost can imagine the planning meeting.
+ Hey look! there are ninjas in this one.
- Let's put it in the movie.
+ I found some giant robots!
- Those too.
+ Uhm a monkey sidekick ?
- Great!
+ What about a giant golden monkey made of other monkeys being controlled by a couple of monkeys playing the trumpet?
- Are you insane!? A trumpet? Let's make it a flute.
+ ( WTF? I guess he really likes monkeys )
+ I guess the more we put in it the more anime-ish it will be. Right?
- Right! Just don't forget to sign our checks.
I thought I knew what was going on before the credits, but after the credits, no fucking clue.
There's so much to say about this show... a real journey - nobody explains it better than Kaptain Kristian https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foulx-DTsrc
The visuals and aesthetics were great in this as well as the kinetic animation style but the story massively leaves you hanging the twist is already hinted at from the get go anyways.
Well, it's a short movie. Light-hearted movie with very simple plot. The animation is fun and dazzling.
Good world building, I would've preferred it the Pokemons looked more like animals and less like cartoons, but this Roger Rabit approach will do. Also, decent cinematography and score. But, the script’s complete ass (conveniences, unnecessary exposition, uninteresting characters without development, extremely predictable storyline etc.) aside from some of Pikachu’s snarky lines, so you’ll probably get bored at some part.
4.5/10
I'm seeing some negative reactions in here. Well, I quite liked it tbh. Had me glued to the screen the whole time. Maybe I don't remember the quality of seasons 1-5 or maybe I'm just happy with little, who knows. Everyone seems to hate this season and I have to say I'm not 100% happy with it. BUT. I really liked this episode. Anyway, what can I say.
If you do fitness exercises, this is a rare gems. The explanations are very good and it's fun to watch.
And also if you watched HANEBADO! don't hesitate!
I saw the first 6 episodes and went like "WOW THIS IS GREAT, THIS IS SO DARK AND REALISTIC", then i watched the rest of the anime and felt so stupid for being this naive and believing that this could've been some sort of clever social phenomenology study or something like that...
Wow... didn't expect this to be so bad. There are some beautiful backgrounds to look at here but that's about the praise this gets from me. Feels like Groening can't really progress as a writer. If maybe the leads had any chemistry then it would have been easier to get into it but as it stands I didn't even chuckle once and the jokes moreso were cringey given that fantasy setting this is supposed to takes place in.
Where did all the production-value go?
The first two episodes dragged me into the world of Star Wars, but after that it‘s all down hill to me. Acting just meh, almost no good looking alien races anymore, heck even the droid from this episode was a pesky human in a bad costume. Just as bad as both of those Twi‘leks and the horned guy - bad actors in bad makeup. I really hope they fix this soon.
They butchered the reunion. I hate it. It makes no sense. She just saw a man he doesn't know and hugs him because... destiny? what the hell? And her first words are "who is yennefer?"??? ughhhhh
At first I thought this is a Ecchi-Comedy story, but as the story progresses it became more of an Near Incest. The story is basically stupid with a few comedy scenes worth laughable. Most of the laughable scenes was comprised of the boy getting beaten by the girls. The Ending of the first season was good but Second Season's was totally Nonsense. I would definitely recommend this Anime to everyone if you have a lot of time to waste. Good Luck!
Tremendous animation, great plot and charming characters! Looks really promising.
Good start but after we transitioned over to the US the show just went downhill for me, we spent WAY too much time trying to comprehend what's good? what's evil? and is suicide okay? The finale felt rather sporadic and didn't address the core events of the series (Shiniki, Magase's goal/ aims etc.) and the cliffhanger just left more questions (that I doubt we will ever have officially answered) than answers.
Dialogues that pretend to be profound and end up being pretentious and pedantic. This causes the development to be slow and at times heavy
Terror fucked that Homelander doll with so much vigor, I think Homelander felt that.
I'm convinced that Stormfront is Gretchen's long lost sister/grandmother.
Overall, DIABOLICAL ep.
Politicians...
Always trying new ways to get into our heads.
By the end of the last episode this series becomes a bit tiresome though thoroughly enjoyable still.
The lead actress is great, the way the chess matches are shot is wonderful.
Russians are not the strerotypical villainous types. Thank god for small mercies.
This show has some rough edges but on the whole it’s good fun.
