What a disgusting bastard Ross is! I hate him so much and I honestly root for George now. And I hope lovely Demelza will dump his ass for McNeil.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds: 2x07 Those Old Scientists

Wow, I did not expect this to be this much brilliant! It's by far the best SNW episode so far, and it definitely became one of my favorite. I seriously have the urge to rewatch it right away. It's funny, and yet has serious and heartfelt moments, a true ST. Tawny and Jack did such a wonderful job, and I hope we'll get to see them again in some live action. Maybe in their own live action series, now that LD has been canceled?.

Also, the legend himself directed this episode, so of course it's 10/10.

I thought that Pike's and Batel's relationship was already over because Pike had a fling with someone else in S1, but I guess he was just cheating on his girlfriend.

Great season finale, and the whole season in general. But, it's such a shame we barely got to see Una. She was terribly neglected and underused. Hopefully, they'll give her more screen time next season.

I loved Una and La'an pairing, they were funny and hope to see them working together more. Although it was weird that the Number One did not participate in such an important negotiations.

Star Trek: Picard: 3x10 The Last Generation

Marvelous, absolutely marvelous! The best season of Picard and possibly the best new trek. I laughed, I cried. It truly was the proper send-off to the crew. However, they really should have included Laris at the end, but since apparently there will be a Picard movie and this won't be the last time we saw them, they might explain what happened to her and Picard there.

Jack as the captain's counselor is a bit weird and undeserved to be honest. The guy was responsible for successful assimilation and destruction, and then one year later he sits next to the captain, advising her, yeah ok. As he himself said it - nepotism at its best. But I do love how they perfectly introduced a new spinoff just like they did in Discovery. Now give us Star Trek: Legacy with captain Seven of Nine! :heart:I really want to know what her line is.

Epic episode! But I wonder why there are so many younglings on the bridge. How much experience could they possible have to end up there...

It looks like Shaw has some psychological issues, he seemed so scared, and it makes me wonder how he even got a command.

Loved seeing that Seven has finally joined Starfleet! Though she should have been the captain instead of that unpleasant and unlikable Shaw. The guy had two short scenes, but he managed to get on my nerves. What is his problem?! Also, as someone here said, she finally seems like Seven from Voyager, the posture, the mannerism, the way she talks. Looking forward to seeing more of her. Hopefully she'll get her own command and the show.

Rios staying in the past is idiotic. He will definitely affect the timeline cause he simply doesn't belong there. It's weird how everybody went along with it and were supportive, like sure buddy why not. Picard should have ordered him to return to the future. The rest was a bit predictable, but not bad. Though I am not sure what to think about the good Borg. That just doesn't seem right. They were always this most feared enemy of the Federation, and in my opinion it should have stayed that way. Maybe it will, time will tell.

After Life

The first season was ok, but the second one is recycled, following the same pattern and it's mostly filled with garbage dialogue and profanity that they tried to pass as humour. I was really disgusted watching s2 and don't how I made it to the season finale, but I know that I am now done with this show. The idea Ricky had was good, but the amount of idiotic characters and vulgarity is higher than it should be. Just look at the third most liked comment here, if that's something that's funny and should be quoted, I really don't know what to say. And the S2 is filled with "jokes" like that and worse.

The first two episodes are way better than the whole first season. I'm loving this crew. Agnes is hilarious, Rios is the man, and Seven is just wonderful in every scene.
I'd really watch Star Trek: Stargazer show with captain Rios with his Cuban cigar and his holos going on an adventures.

Star Trek

Even though this was the one that started the whole franchise, it's by far the worst thanks to its never ending sexism. There's no real development for any of the supporting characters, there's just Kirk looking for a new hookup and women who are there just as his love interest dressed provocatively. The show might as well be called Kirk and the ladies. If this show had been my first venture into Star Trek world, I would have given up watching 2-3 episodes in. Thankfully, I decided to follow the suggestion found online and started with TNG, DS9, VOY, etc. and left this one for the end. I managed to finish it just because I was already very much invested and in love with the franchise. There is however one good thing about this show and it's Spok. He's the most interesting, the smartest and kindest character, not to mention the only one we learn something about besides Kirk.
Either way, the show doesn't have a rewatch value for me at all.

What a wonderful future it is, where women are still told what they can and cannot do and where they are forbidden from becoming starship captains. And those last Kirk's words: She could have had a life as rich as every other woman... If only she'd... Wtf. I know this is 60s show, but it's still horrifying and appalling.

Kirk hits her, insults her, basically calls her a man's property, how could she not fall for him after all that, right? Disgusting and painful to watch.

In a vast sea of cheesy Christmas movies, this one is surprisingly entertaining and lovely. The story is quite sweet and the cast is actually talented! If these types of films are your guilty pleasure during festive season, make sure you don't skip this one!

2001: A Space Odyssey
Doctor Who: Special 3 The Giggle

For the 60th anniversary specials, these episodes were very weak. The only highlight in this one was Neil Patrick Harris. That man is absolutely amazing in everything!
The bi-generation is so stupid and feels like a recycled idea; the only difference is that it actually makes sense in Journey's End, but here is just plain idiotic. Now there are two Doctors and two Tardis as well. If Chibnall pulled this stunt with 13 along with changing The Doctor's trademark which is the sonic screwdriver, everyone would slam him quite vigorously. And of course, the resolution of the problem with Toymaker was underwhelming, the myth of the bi-generation was not explained and neither was the sudden use of the word "mavity" in the previous episode. I was never a big fan of Russell to begin with, but for me, he really blew it again with this whole bi-generation thing. As for the new Doctor, it's still too early to tell, but I hope we'll get better episodes.

Doctor Who: Special 2 Wild Blue Yonder

Thrilling episode! Much better than the previous one. But black Isaak Newton? Wtf? You can't change the race of historical figure! Imagine casting a white person to play Rosa Parks or Nelson Mandela. It would be outrageous! Well, so is this. Racism can go both ways! This decision has Disney written all over it. I can't believe the British allowed it. Also, I hope they'll explain the change from "gravity" to "mavity".

The best movie I've seen this year. It made me laugh, it made me cry, and gave me this warm, cosy, but melancholic feeling. A must watch!

Doctor Who: Special 1 The Star Beast

Women can just let go, huh? That was the grand solution for metacrisis? So ridiculously stupid and underwhelming. I'm not sure what to think about these new unexplained features of sonic screwdriver either. It can suddenly create shields and floating touchscreens? It's weird. The story itself was a bit bland, not something I'd expect from 60th anniversary, but I do love the new interior of the Tardis and The Doctor and Donna were brilliant. I forgot how much I missed Donna Noble. Hopefully, the next two episodes will be better.

This show didn't end. TMDB incorrectly marked it as ended and labelled next episodes as part of a separate show. IMDB shows seasons correctly and has Season 14. Is there any way to report this so it could get fixed?

Disturbing episode. I cannot believe they just let the alien creature highjack commissioner's body and keep her consciousness trapped there. And then they all pretended that's some great love story between the alien and Cochrane. :face_vomiting: They are horrible superior officers and people.

How could they? :sob::sob::sob: Data was and is the best character in both TNG and Star Trek universe. To just kill him off like that was incredibly cruel and heartbreaking. I hope this isn't how his story truly ended and that they'll bring him back in Picard and explain that he survived somehow. I really don't want the clone to replace him, it's insulting. There's only one, true Data.
Besides the devastating ending, I enjoyed the movie very much.
