While the trailers and adverts might make this seem like it's a happy romp, it's not. Believe me it's not. This, in my opinion, is a very sad film. It took me by surprised me and made me remember aspects of my childhood I don't normally keep at the forefront of my mind. This is despite the comedy and the happy joy-joy attitude seen for about 50% of the film. I really related to Riley, so much so that I actually cried quite a bit at the theatre. I felt a bit embarrassed but I really couldn't help it. It wasn't the acts in the film that made me sad, it was the explanation afterwards. Riley's motivations. Hearing it in words after seeing everything broke me. A Disney film hasn't made me cry like that ever.
You absolutely have to see Inside Out. But, don't go into it looking for it to put a smile on your face after a bad day. It's a really emotional ride. However, the message in the end is really worth it. It's a message that we should really get across to the children of today. I wish the message being put forward by this movie was being aimed at children back when I was a kid. It would have really helped. It would have indeed.

This is a gorgeous movie. There is no villain or external force to fight. It is about a girl who had a very happy childhood learning to deal with loneliness and accepting other negative emotions like sadness. She is learning how to balance all the little pieces of herself (what separates children from adults). The movie shows little kids how you are dealing with stuff on the inside affects how you deal with stuff on the outside.
Inside Out isn't just a movie. It's a doctoral dissertation on human psychology, with a bit of therapy on the side. Miraculously, it's fun, to boot. The level of invention is so high, and the density of detail is so great, that it’s impossible to absorb everything in a single viewing—which is why I’m watching it again (& again & again).

I love it and all its subplots.
The first few episodes start off a bit shakey and a lot of the characters initially start off a bit dense and/or one dimensional. I would urge you to give it another go and get through a couple of episodes. After that, this show proves it is entirely worthy of the score and praise it gets.
Remember don't take the blue mints and never drink lemonade from the toilet~!! Boovs are pretty hip, they're speakin net language and even up it a level. XD On a serious note, this animation carries quite a valuable message, it tells of how friendship could overcome the differences in anything.. it made me realise how we could be friendly to animals and yet we could mistreat our fellow human friends. I also like that quote from Tippy, "You know, my Mum says your mistakes are what makes you human." I mean yea we all knew that but the important thing is to really learn from our mistakes and not count them. Lastly, running away from problems would just lead you into a life of infinite loose-ends, resolving is the only way you can find peace in yourself. Boov-yah~~
This was the perfect finale in a great final season of an overall great show. Last seasons finale would have made a good series finale if it had to, but it came nowhere close to this. It actually reminded me a bit of Six Feet Unders finale.
It wasn't always a perfect show, but it was great most of the time, and it was the last suvivor from an era in which NBC knew what great comedy was.
"Maggie's Extraordinary Animal Adventure" is one of the best things this show has done in a LONG time.

Frozen is a visual masterpiece which left me in a state of awe and wonder. That Disney Magic is present throughout the entire film and I feel they have finally gotten back to their roots - really championing the musical and theatricality of their films.
Idina Menzel and Kristin Bell absolutely shone (I had no idea Kristin could sing). The soundtrack I found was very reminiscent of Wicked (couldn't stop thinking of Defying Gravity during Let It Go). It is no surprise that this animated musical has been confirmed to be made into a Broadway Show.

They are guessing due to how long it took for The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast to hit the stage, we are looking at a four year turn around. I personally think they will ride the popularity train and push it to stage as quick as possible. The score seems like it is pretty much done and written for the stage (listen to the out-take songs on the deluxe extended soundtrack - lots of focus on Anna and Elsa as children).
Considering the choices (aesthetically) for the voices of Anna (Kristin), Elsa (Idina), I believe it is highly likely the ladies could play the same characters on stage.

SO SO GOOD! It was funny, scary and amazing! Who can hate on this film, it's much better then everyone thought it would be, maybe better than the originals! Not a perfect movie but it is a really strong 9.
These ladies are HILARIOUS! I really enjoyed watching this. I laughed out loud a whole bunch of times and really love the actors in these particular roles. I can already see several long-term quotable lines coming from it. Chris Hemsworth was also a riot.
While it's probably technically a remake, this movie has its own original plot and its own original characters. I'm glad for that. I loved the nods to the original without (always) hitting you over the head with it. Keep an eye out for some old friends.
Having said that, the movie does drag a bit around the 2/3 mark before kind of getting its mojo back for the finale. And make sure you stick around through the credits (which go by surprisingly quickly)!
There are going to be people who will hate this no matter what. But don't pre-judge this movie based on the trailer. Give it a chance and you may laugh as hard as I did.
The level of awfulness and nonsense in this season is kinda astounding. Dunno what the hell Murphy's had in his mind when he wrote/directed this whole season lol
I don't think I have ever been in love with a movie, like I'm in love with La La Land. From the first few seconds, till the very end. This movie had me and didn't let go. My english vocabulary is not good enough to express my love, heck, my dutch vocabulary is not good enough to express it. This movie is everything.
It is beautiful, happy, magical, romantic and I could go on for a little while longer but I won't. I wasn't expecting it to be this musical-y, but I mean, I love musicals so I'm not complaining. I think this is a great "musical" because there isn't non stop singing, so people who don't like musicals might like this one because it's more "subtle". I can only imagine how much practice went into all those dance routines and don't get me started on the impressive piano skills Ryan Gosling showed us.
Something that really impressed me as well was the way they filmed everything. It's a very creative and different way, which I really enjoyed and think makes this movie a great inspiration for those who love film and camerawork themselves. The build up and flashbacks and stuff were really cool as well. Yea I really enjoyed that. Also, the storyline, which does so much for a movie, was so great.
This is normally the part were I talk about the actors, but seeing that there were mainly only two actors and they were both amazing (I do think tho, that Ryan Gosling his character wasn't a very challenging one for him because we have seen him in roles like these before. Mixing it up with all the dancing, singing en piano playing though, you got something quite different and I loved it), I'm going to skip this part and say that you should watch this movie, do nothing more, just watch it, enjoyed it and love it.
It's a nice movie with some flaws here and there. The acting by Daniel Bruhl, Emma Watson and Michael Nyqvist is solid. I didn't like the fact that almost everyone spoke English in the first part of the movie. It takes away a bit of the immersion and doesn't feel very realistic.
