The Knight Before Christmas

Very cute movie. Not spetacular, but it delivers what it promises. The only thing I didn't like was the sourcerss... kinda far-fetched.

Minha Fama de Mau

Overall, I really enjoyed this movie, especially the songs! They're in my head till now, haha. I just didn't quite understand Bianca Comparato's part and why she kept changing her name all the time ... xD. But the cast went really well, and seriously, the guy who played Roberto Carlos has THE SAME VOICE as him!! I even thought they had asked the King to dub the parts the actor sang in the movie kkkkk but from what I saw on the original soundtrack later, it was Gabriel Leone himself who sang it. Wow. All people involved are to be congratulated!
P.S. Que sacanagem eu não poder comentar em português, Trakt, só brasileiros vão assistir esse filme mesmo! G.G

Cruel Intentions

I'm not sure I liked it... it was weirder and more tragic than I expected.
I guess I agree with the guy from the comment below. The first part was a little dark, but it had its charms. Then suddenly the movie changed into a love story (how did this happened?) with a unnecessary end... Sebastian was still an asshole, why should his sister take the blame alone?
Besides, I'm not sure I get the whole Cecile/Robert part... really confusing.

The Lion King

I liked it, plus I LOVED the voices of all characters. But I missed some expressivity, there was not enough 'face' and body language, you can hardly tell that Simba is sad when... well, when we-know-what happens, if it weren't for his voice. Yes, I know they were made with CGI, but I really missed it... maybe if there were some ears and shoulders down now and then. But other than that, it's beautiful. Timon e Pumbaa, funny as ever <3

Mary Poppins Returns

I was dying to see this movie, but also nervous I wouldn't like it compared to the first one. But now that I have watched it, I must confess I'm relieved and surprised. Emily Blunt was marvelous, I couldn't think of a better substitute for Julie Andrews. The actor who plays Jack was also a fine substitute for our dear-old Bert. The movie was certanly magical in its own way, but it also gave us the right amount of nostalgy, by betting on similar (yet new) scenes with the first one. For all those involved, I can only say Congratulations on the good work and thank you, oh thank you so much for this movie... dazzling and touching, like a good Mary Poppins movie should be. (Also, how great it was that Dick Van Dyke appeared??? Oh, I just wish Julie also had...)

Carrie

I'm not particularly into horror movies, but the story of Carrie always got a hook on me. I've watched the 2002 version when I was just a kid, and for some crazy, freaky reason, I liked it. There was no happy ending and still, I understood -- there was not supposed to be one. It was a different kind of movie. Then, I found out about Stephen King's book, and I got curious, so I read it. Again, no ordinary kind of book, but still, I loved it -- Carrie's story was no ordinary story, so it deserved to be told differently. I've watched the latest version (2013) too, but I simply fell in love with this first one! Sissy Spacek did a terrific job, she WAS Carrie. I actually believed those kind of events were possible, and the way that poor girl was mistreated... God, the whole cast is amazing! This movie is GENIUS and I simply love it... again, in a crazy, freaky kind of way. xD (Sorry if there are any mistakes guys, English is not my first language)

Atuaram impecavelmente bem, a Larissa Manoela então, me fez chorar, e agora posso dizer que admiro o trabalho dela. Só mais uma coisa: MUITO OBRIGADA por terem transformado em filme esse livro incrível e emocionante! A Thalita Rebouças arrasa e tá me dando orgulho do cinema brasileiro ultimamente! Vou esperar ansiosa pela adaptação de Tudo por um pop star e qualquer outra que resolvam fazer dos livros dela, afinal, se forem tão boas quanto essa, não posso perder de jeito nenhum.
