I had high hopes for this series, but as of episode 2 it became clear that the show is poorly written and spends far too much time trying to be edgy to be anything other than boring. This really feels like the writers are trying to hard.
The most fun and spooky episode I have watched in a long time. Who knew TV without dialog could be so intense and masterful.
The characters are under developed and unlikable. The story is weak and poorly written. How did this show get a second season.
I am very sad that it is all over, but what an ending. Adventure Time has always had so many layers and so much depth, but this that last show even at 44 minutes was jammed full of so much I will need to watch it many times to fully digest all that it is. The show has cast so many emotions upon me I have butterflies in my stomach and tears in my eyes. I both love and hate some of the developments of long term story arcs, yet they all are very true to the writing history of the show.
The First episode was a disappointment for me, only 20 minutes of story spread out over the hour, because of this, nothing rally happens in it. I will give the series a second chance, but as it is, I do not recommend it.
-note: The show does have a good look, and interesting characters, so I do have hope for it.
