This is one of the best TV show episodes I have ever watched. A masterpiece in every sense!
Season 1 was a great introduction to the series.Season 2 was a fantastic addition to the show. Episode 7 from Season 2 was just stupendously awesome and will make every Castlevania fan scream! Can't wait for Season 3.
One final request: please release the OST ASAP!
Seems this movie is no longer coming out
A fantastic movie that will stimulate all your emotions. Fantastic chemistry between the cast is a big plus.
Great idea for a plot but the it suffers from poor execution. I'd skip this one.
Extremely powerful and well shot+edited. However, this movie is not for everyone as it is not a point a to b type when it comes to story telling.
One of the best episodes so far
Lauren: These talks... I don't know if they help or... Do you ever wish you could forget?
Bernard Lowe: This pain... it's all I have left of him.
This show just keeps getting better and better.
Like:- Awesome anime art with mind blowing scenery- Ninja + Dark Knight + Gotham villains + surprises :)- Great music which adds extra adrenaline to the ongoing action- Joker and Harley are hilarious as always- By no means can you try to predict what sort of actions will take next. You'll easily notice the Japanese influence as you progress. - A new take on DC Comic presentation
Dislike:- The plot might be the weakest link but I still managed to find some fun in it
Flow: (Act 1, 2, 3)Great flow
Like:- Artistic and Beautiful Cinematography- Creepy and disturbing sequence of events- Solid character performances- Heavily based on metaphors and symbolism which allows open ended discussions
Dislike:- Might turn out many viewers due to its complexity
Movie Facts:Throughout the entire movie, no one's name is ever mentioned and not a single character is ever referred to by any name, the way they are listed in the end credits is by their given role in the story.
SoundTrack:Fact: There is no musical score for the film, and not a single bit of music appears in the film whatsoever until the end credits, where "The End of the World" plays covered by singer Patti Smith.
Like:- Beautiful Cinematography and Editing as with every Del Toro Movie- Solid Character acting by all members of the cast- Memorable OST
Dislike:- Plot was rushed at places and was highly predictable- The movie did not quite capture me the way I expected it to comming from movies such as Pan’s Labyrinth- The creature, knowing how hard it was to design, felt a bit too bland for me. It needed more texture.- I would have loved to see more creature backstory
Flow: (Act 1, 2, 3)Good in places and rushed at others
Movie Facts:When The Shape of Water (2017) premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2017, the screening was held in the Elgin Theatre. The interior scenes of the theater in the film were shot in the Elgin Theatre, so as the audience was watching the film, they were seeing the same theater on screen that they were sitting in.
Awards/Oscars:Won 4 Oscars: Best Achievement in Directing, Best Motion Picture of the Year, Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures (Original Score), Best Achievement in Production Design
Memorable Quotes:When he looks at me, the way he looks at me... He does not know, what I lack... Or - how - I am incomplete. He sees me, for what I - am, as I am. He's happy - to see me. Every time. Every day. Now, I can either save him... or let him die.
Even with such an awesome cast, the movie was no where as good.
Like:- Gorgeous Cinematography and transitional effects. One moment the movie goes into black and white and the next is silhouettes conducting sword combat.- Spectacular set designs and visuals- Unforgettable OST that will sit on my playlist for quite sometime- Movie is divided into numerous Acts making it a treat to follow (Another QT signature)- Unexpected comedy at certain places which is always a big welcome- Sword fights and choreography at its finest - Character development is handled perfectly- Music, Art, and Film combined into a classic- Now I need to watch Vol 2
Dislike:- Might be too gory for some but this is QT’s trademark
Flow:Fast and there is never a dull moment
Movie Facts:- Extremely gory and violent (QT Trademark)- Listed in IMDB top 250
Awards/Oscars:Nominated for 1 Golden Globe
Best Movie Quote:Revenge is a dish best served cold
Rewatchable:Yes it is just a masterpiece in action
Like:- Depression is the name of this movie and it translates it perfectly- Great acting and dialog- Movie jumps between different timelines revealing events that shape character emotions- Sound design and music were good but nothing exceptional.- Casey Affleck did win an Oscar for his role and I do agree that his depiction of the character he played was spot on.- A real-life depiction of how man handle’s life in the aftermath of a tragedy
Dislike:- It feels a bit dull in very few sections
Plot Complexity:Medium with a good flow
Movie Facts:- The town was called Manchester until 1989, when resident Edward Corley led a highly controversial campaign to formally change its name to Manchester-by-the-Sea. The action was passed by the state legislature that year.- Shot in 32 days.
Awards/Oscars: Won 2 Oscars
Rewatchable:I can classify this movie as a great movie that I will only watch once.
I haven't covered much ground when it comes to Western movies but I can easily say that it was blast watching it.
I expected a little more from the ending but don't let that hold you back.
The tension building was amazing and the movie actually flows in real-time. So every 1 minute = 1 minute in the movie.Highly recommended !
An awesome movie with great dialog and comedy. Now go watch snatch :)
For all those who want to get in the mood of Blade Runner, you should watch these 3:

Other notes:Not for kids due to violence
Best Movie Quote:You're getting older, and you'll see that life isn't like your fairy tales. The world is a cruel place. And you'll learn that, even if it hurts.
Pros:+ Dunkirk depicts and reveals the scale of the event on all levels: Land, air, and sea+ Glorious cinematography (by Hoyte Van Hoytema) and editing (by Lee Smith) adding significantly to the experience+ Electrifying soundtrack by Hans Zimmer+ Loud and fulfilling sound effects from the diving Stukas to the distant machine gun shots+ Your heart will keep pounding due to the blend of senses emitted by the visuals and audio+ Great cast and chemistry through actions (Dialog is limited)+ Nolan throws the audience right in the middle of WAR.+ The whole movie focusses on the event itself instead of on a couple of soldiers. Hence, the lack of strong character development which I thought was awesome and a wise choice by Nolan
Cons:- Music at times might feel too loud thus covering the dialog
Dunkirk must be experienced in IMAX!
Best Movie Quote:Men my age dictate this war. Why should we be allowed to send our children to fight it?
Random Facts:- Based on Yann Martel’s Booker-prize winning novel
Plot Complexity:Medium to Hard
Memorable Quote:- Believing in everything is the same as believing in nothing- I suppose in the end, the whole of life becomes an act of letting go, but what always hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye.
Like:+ Unique horror movie and very thrilling+ Let's your imagination run wild + Great setting and mystery elements+ Very heavy on the gore. Keep in mind this is an autopsy+ Excellent acting and performance from the cast (Brian Cox and Emile Hirsch)
Dislike:- Ending felt a bit rushed and could have been closed much better
Plot Complexity:Easy to comprehend
Random Fact:- The first English movie by André Øvredal
Director:Tom Ford: other well known movies include "A Single Man"

Whether you like musicals or not, Singin' in the Rain is a musical classic that should be enjoyed by everyone
Here is my quick review:[Like]+ Beautiful and Memorable Choreography: Keep an eye out to the Magical "Singin' in the Rain" and the Acrobatic "Make them Laugh" section+ Superb performance and chemistry between the cast (Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor, Debbie Reynolds, and Jean Hagen)+ Music and score are pure ear candy+ Brings forward the idea of when Hollywood was transitioning from Silent Movies to Talkies+ Considered by many as the best Hollywood musical of all time+ Comedy also adds to the magic of the screenplay. (The microphone scene is priceless)[Dislike]- Lina's voice ;)
Plot Complexity: Easy to comprehend
Best Movie Quote: Lina. She can't act, she can't sing, she can't dance. A triple threat.
A Monster Calls is a movie that will take you on a roller-coaster of emotions. One of the best movies of 2016. Simply mind blowing !
Here is my quick review:[Like]+ Stunning performances by all actors+ Out of this world art and cinematography+ Lots of drama and moral discussion+ Captivating and deeply moving plot with a perfect flow+ The movie leaves a long lasting impression.[Dislike]- Sorry but I couldn't find any
Plot Complexity: Medium
Best Movie Quote: Because humans are complicated beasts. You believe comforting lies, while knowing full well the painful truth that makes those lies necessary. In the end, Conor, it is not important what you think. It is only important what you do.
This is my first Star Wars experience and yes I plan to run the complete franchise marathon !
Here is my quick review:
[Like]+ Outstanding Technical Achievement which set the bar high for special effects+ Music and score are pure ear candy+ Loveable characters: Darth Vader, C3PO and R2 are always fun to watch+ Captivating plot and perfect flow
[Dislike]- Lack of emotional display from some characters (Spoilers Below):- Luke's Uncle and Aunt disintegrated and not even a tear is shed- A full planet blows up and no one cares- Obi Wan perishes and Luke seems more attached to him than his Uncle and Aunt
Best Movie Quote: Darth Vader: The Force is strong with this one.
