I can not believe that someone was paid to write this script. A monkey with a typewriter could write a better one. Terrible. Just a terrible movie. Don't waste your time watching it.
Another "Hit and Miss" for Disney Marvel. Could've been a good show if this stayed in Marvel Netflix instead of Disney Marvel.
The show had potential, but they totally missed the direction of it. If they made her a brutal assassin that is in the ranks of Kingpin or Punisher, the badass that copies her opponents moves, and deals with them in hard hitting gore action it would've been much better show. Instead, they went with some mumbo-jumbo crap, echoing her ancestral spirit, whatever that means. Totally messed up the whole native-american vibe (see Kahhori in "What if" for comparison) and made that part boring as hell.
They put her in a lot of family interactions, where she's supposed to show emotions but instead just stands there being as blank as possible. Almost no character development and dialog weren't much of a problem, since she should've been brooding, silent, don't show emotions protagonist, that lets action speak for her, but they made her neither here nor there. All in all, one of the shows to watch, just to check it of you watchlist and then forget about.
There is only one thing that really bugs me in this movie:
Why was he living in such a bad neighborhood if he had the money, and if he hadn't, then how could he afford hospital bills, car, training lessons, equipment and a year away from work to prepare.
Very interesting premise, but they forgot to put any meaning in it.
There is a reason why this was dropped even by Disney Star Wars.
The whole movie is a meh. I could sleep through segments of it, and it wouldn't affect the story one bit.
Sadly, got through it all wide awake.
About at half of the movie, I started to force myself to power through to the end,
but not one unpredictable thing happened during the entire runtime.
The real problem begins when you try to deconstruct it scene by scene.
If you begin finding all that is wrong with it, you cannot stop, and it takes a review longer that the script of the movie...
From bad script (felt like patchwork), stiff dialog, lousy characters, bad acting, bad accents, predictable tropes and stereotypes,
to the terrible by-the-book directing with fight slow-mos and quick cuts.
The CGI ranges from OK to terrible, but even practical effects are bad and look cheap, not to mention the costumes that look so anachronistic and out of touch.
If you have free time to spend, dont watch this, instead watch again the original source movies.
Bottom line, and the biggest problem with this movie is that there was nothing good that caught my eye.
It is one of those movies that you watch maybe once and never again.
Why did I think that this could be funny?
Much better than the movie. Two episodes in and I'm hooked.
P.S. Sadly, after whole season, I don't feel the same. Not sure why, but my hype for the show kinda fizzled out.
The feel for the whole show is a meh (5), but I gave it fair (6) score just because of hype from beginning.
We finally have answer to the question:
How it would look, if a production that looks like a high school theater group had a 100M$ budget? ... and it does not look good.
Actually, I believe a real high school theater would do a better job.
brought to you by fans love for rapist psychopath character from that other show.
it is funny: all of bad comments are from people that didn't even bothered to watch it.
But those who watched the whole season have nothing but praise for the show. I am one of them.
Had my prejudices, thought it will suck, but in the end I am loving this show and can't wait for more.
This is absolute treasure and everyone should watch it.
They could've hired some five-year olds to write the better script. it has the same level of quality as any of other teen Disney tv shows.
Feels like it was just done so the audience would pay for their vacation.
Barely watchable at 4x speed.
Should've been called "First World Problems". A story of a man with loving wife and a well paid job complaining about everything.
Was thrilling in the 80s, but in 21st it's just standard everyday dating.
Scooby-Doo Gang ripoff where Fred and Daphne are the leads...
More and more this looks like prequel to movie "Brazil".
When by episode two you start rooting for the bad guys.
btw this is Moses story, right, did I guess right?
Main character has to play new role every episode. I think Lee will have problem with even one of them... I hope I'm wrong. Even Ernie Hudson would be better choice for Ben.
Great concept, too bad it is Disney, so it will be produced like it is a PG '90s sitcom.
(after watching it I would rather watch paint drying, more fun and entertaining)
Nice idea, if done in a style of "Kickass", but since it is a Disney, I don't have high expectations about this.
(after watching it I realized that my low expectations were to high. Don't bother with this)
I think I know how the story goes.
Dream episode, really. So out of ideas that they pull Dream episode filler.
Why its always the teenager that get powers? Why not 40-something mother of five?
All three of them are ok actresses, but never pegged them as comedians,
never crossed my mind: You know whos funny, Maggie Q, that's who, she's hilarious.
So, I don't expect much of this show. Could be wrong, hope to be wrong.
this is not TV Show, but audio podcast on Spotify.

Watchable. It reminds me of Castlevania. The whole season looks like an extended pilot. Opening music is totally off point.
