Where is walter white?

"Carrion Flowers" by Chelsea Wolfe right at the beginning of the episode? My oh my, we're off to a very good start! Too bad this episode was more of a filler than anything else. But it still made me eager for the episodes to come! I did miss this show for the whole months it was gone.
Oh! And rejoice! The awkward censored dialogue is gone!

Danys back! That last scene was amazing. It was a long time coming and it was worth it, now lets see what she does next.

The scene between Cersei and Jamie with Euron was great. I wonder what the gift could be? Maybe he is bringing Robert's last bastard, Gendry? Jamie's look on his face when Euron said you should try killing you brother made me laugh. It’s like it just crossed his mind that she is actually capable of doing that.

Arya is not content with just killing Walder Frey, she had to kill them all. I realized about halfway through that scene and it was awesome to see her be a badass. The North Remembers! Oh and there is Ed Sheeran I wonder if we will see him again?

I loved that The Hound basically made fun of Thoros for having a man bun. Its crazy to see the way he has changed as a person and burying the people he left for dead a few seasons ago.

Sansa questioning Jon in front of everyone makes me think she wants to be in charge. I wonder if Littlefinger is rubbing off on her? Jon is concerned with the North but I think Sansa has more knowledge of everyone else and she is going to be important going forward.

I can’t get enough of Tormund hitting on Brienne. "You're a lucky man."

Sam's poop/soup montage was disgusting. He might be the most important part of this epsiode though. Finding the Dragon glass "mountain" might give the living folk an actual chance. Jon will probably be going to Dragonstone next week and we will finally get Jon and Daenerys face to face. And we get a glimpse at poor Jorah which seems the grey scale has gone into full effect.

Great episode to kick off the new season. We don't have a full 10 episodes so hopefully some big things happen next week.

Damn, it must really suck to have been snapped while being on a plane.

Pros:

• First and foremost, props to its ambition.
• There are major goosebumps, as well as emotional, moments.
• The acting is top notch. And especially the people who need to be top notch, are really top notch.
• The action has fantastic ideas at play.
• The amount of cameos in this film is unbelievable. Spoiler: Loved the fact that Jarvis from Agent Carter got a cameo!
• It celebrates the MCU in a good, and sometimes also very clever, way.
• The right characters are highlighted.
• A good score, and finally some more musical continuity.
• The villain is still great.
• It wraps up in a very satisfying way. Characters whose story ends here, get a great wrap up.

Cons:

• The first hour is a little hard to get through. It's very dialogue heavy, which in itself isn't a problem, but the Russos aren't good at directing long sections with just dialogue, while keeping you interested. And when that's a problem, you also start to notice the slow pacing, as well as flavourless direction of those scenes.
• The time jump feels like a lazy way to force inorganic changes into the story (e.g. The Hulk & Banner issue, a big plot point in the previous film, has been solved off screen; or the Civil War conflict that has been sort of resolved now, neither one of those feel earned. )
• The choreography and editing of the action aren't good. Moreover, the action that involves a lot of CGI feels weightless.
• Not a fan of the direction they took with Thor. They made him a tragic, but badass hero in the last film. I get that he's sad in this film, but did they really need to turn him into a joke again, like Thor: Ragnarok so annoyingly did?
• The time travel mechanics in this film don’t make enough sense. As a result, the continuity of the MCU is fucked now, because of the huge plotholes in this film. If half of the population is now 5 years older, do we just have to assume that the entirety of Peter's school got snapped? Do we have to assume that all the important Wakandans that play a future role in Black Panther sequels got snapped? What about any of the tv shows that are loosely (although not as loose as once before) connected? Also, how come we can't bring back anyone who died? If a past Gamora, Nebula and Thanos can come to the future, then why can't we bring back Natascha, Gamora, Pietro, Vision, etcetera? Also, going forward, anything that goes wrong can now be fixed with time travel (as long as they don't place restrictions on the Pym particles). It's issues like these that make a lot of time travel movies fall apart, and Endgame is no different.

Why do the writers have to conflate gun safety with women's right to choose. Dr Glassman's concern about a gun in the house he lives in is just as valid as Debbie's concern about feeling controlled. Dr Glassman can be a controlling person, but he can also be right about not wanting a gun in the house.

If the genders were reversed, and a woman didn't want a gun where she lived, the storyline wouldn't be about the man's right to choose. It would just be about whether two people can find a compromise, and if neither side can compromise, then it's just bad compatibility and shouldn't be together.

I also don't understand America's obsession with guns. Could you imagine if Debbie wanted a super aggressive dog in the house, one that attacks, maims and potentially kills intruders, but also has a high rate of accidentally attacking and killing the owners of the house (which guns do!)... how is that allowed? And in that scenario, how would it be okay to force Dr Glassman to accept that the guard dog has to be allowed in the house?

The Foundation is essentially what Elisabet Sobeck was trying to establish before Ted Faro screwed everything up.

Gaal and Raych's relationship is soo rushed and doesn't fit right in this early.

Red is a nice contrast agains white… the first episode made me exited again about Dexter!!! Can we have an applause for Michael C. Hall!!!

Ridiculous how long it took them to realize it was a psychedelic. I knew almost right away, going by symptoms. Why did they play elimination game instead of running a tox screen? Then just give them some benzo or haloperidol and soon they'd be back to normal. I would expect doctors to have more knowledge about drugs.

The walls are 15 cm thick.

Even giant monsters are ever so easily trapped in here.
