What can I say about this saga? It had its ups and downs, even though it apparently did horribly in Japan. I did not like Gotenks, but appreciated most everything else. I won't get all involved, but key positives were the multiple Buu forms, fusions, Vegeta's redemption arc, and Videl (she was so awesome). Negatives? Videl gets sidelined to being irrelevant in Super, Gotenks is annoying, SSJ3 just doesn't look that great to me, no chance of Cell redemption, dumb-ass Earth people won't bother to raise their hands (morons being too lazy to do the most simplest action ever in order to save themselves... where have I heard that before? cough COVID cough.
The saga truly cements how useless the human fighters like Krilling, Tien, Yamcha, 18, etc. are, didn't bother giving Piccolo a power-up, and had plenty of stupid decisions from the Z fighters, but I liked it overall. No saga will be perfect, but the positives far outweigh the negatives. It's hilarious that Goku needed the buffoon, Mr. Satan, in order to defeat Kid Buu. I just wish Videl would get trained more, so she could be as strong as Krillin or Piccolo, if nothing else. She put up such a fantastic fight at the tournament, that I really want more for her!
I liked it more than the first movie, but one thing bothers me: Why were there no soldiers stationed in the mother's room? Why was the mother strapped down, so she couldn't avoid her death? You have the most valuable and the most dangerous person in the country in that room, and nobody bothers to protect her? A massive outbreak on the base all because of one kiss.
Pretty good movie. Only real issue is there’s no way she could’ve gotten into the guy’s Home Screen, since she wouldn’t know his passcode for the phone.
Pretty fun episode. Sucks knowing it’ll be years before the grand line, much more for the time skip. But I hope the rest of the season is just as good
Pure garbage. He looks and acts nothing like Barry Allen. Hell, why didn't they just use Grant Gustin as the actor? Horrid acting from Ezra, crappy dialogue, and not even an appearance from Reverse-Flash! Why would Bruce Wayne even attempt electrocuting Barry Allen, when he'd think it'd kill him? It should've been Thomas Wayne like the comics. Ezra and Ezra just felt like a bad attempt at Bill & Ted, rather than a serious time-warping experience. The whole point of going back to the past is preventing his mother's murder by Eobard Thawne, but instead he just puts tomatoes in her shopping cart... How did that one thing prevent her brutal murder?
He's part of the Justice League, but has no idea where Wonder Woman would be? Why not contact the JSA? Shazam? Anyway, the new Supergirl was nice and one of the few redeeming parts of the movie. Rather have seen her in a solo movie than this crap. If you're a fan of Flashpoint, know this is nothing like the comics. If you're a fan of Barry Allen, know this Ezra is nothing like the character. If you're a fan of good superhero action, go watch Across the Spider-Verse. My greatest gripe with this movie is: Warner Bros chose to cancel a finished Batgirl movie, but decided to side with this pedophile abuser, Ezra Miller. Not even George Clooney, Christopher Reeve, or Michael Keaton could redeem his baggage. Whoever was in charge of this movie should be fired. The owner of Warner should be dismissed, and Warner should get actual DC Comics fans in place.
Seriously, why are Peter Safran and James Gunn even associating with the criminal? Toss Ezra out, and start fresh.
Good movie, but don’t go in expecting a faithful adaptation of the comics. There is no evil Flash/Hal Jordan, Wonder Woman doesn’t turn into an ultra-dictator, there is no magic/gods, and Supes is able to see his failures.
Still a nice, original take on the story, but definitely read the comics to get the true, epic enjoyment from it.
So, basically, you either kill someone in front of a witness, and continue the curse (but save yourself) or kill yourself to stop the curse altogether.
Great movie, horrible ending. I loved the concept and story, but not having Winona, or her family, visit him after 50+ years (or her telling the truth) is just awful. Edward deserved better. It’d been really cool if Edward had walked into the grandchild’s bedroom, and had been her granddad all along, but leaving him alone and miserable in that abandoned estate for eternity is horrible.
A decent comedy. Much of the deaths were hilarious
Why is this praised so much?? I was thoroughly bored the entire movie!!
Top tier comedy. Absolutely loved both seasons! Can’t wait for season 3!!
I felt bad for Veda, but felt nothing for Thomas J. The bees were defending themselves.
Incredible movie, just wish that singer girl had made a reappearance at the end. But damn, you never really consider how many lives a teacher touches in three decades.
3 hours is far too long.
I truly fail to see why this received such negative criticism when it released. It was pretty good. Insanely grotesque, but on par with Evil Dead in that respect. Definitely worth watching, especially for the cliffhanger ending.
Interesting enough, but why did they not bring up the priest’s fate?
Starts out so well with an interesting premise, then blows it halfway through. I would've loved if it was Sandler purposely using the remote to gain immense power & wealth, while distancing himself from his family -- ergo, pride goeth before a fall. But instead, we just have him being held hostage by the remote, while making immature or gross jokes throughout. This movie had a lot of potential, to the point of being similar to a Black Mirror episode, but they blew it. I can't imagine what drugs the other commenters were taking, but it must've been good.
Also Morty was annoying.
Great film, but the husband was a damn idiot the whole movie, especially after the treehouse/hammer/playground incidents. He had to be braindead to not notice something wrong. Also, why did they not check the cameras in the hospital? Surely, they have ones in the hallways.
Interesting take. Starts out slow, but is unique. Only things I didn't understand were:
1. How did Peter know Jess was down there?
2. How could Jess not hear Billy shouting from within the house, during his last phone call?
3. Why did the police not investigate all the rooms, including the attic, after Jess's survival?
4. Why was the head mistress, or whoever she was, hide her drinking problem, while the sorority sisters had no issue with their drinking?
5. Why bother telling us about the murdered kid, if they're not going to show us?
Sucks to see so many people sleeping on such a great series. I loved this movie, and really hope the show will get picked up again.
Fantastic movie that demonstrates just how cruel and awful Gitmo is. It is a damn embarrassment that Bush, Obama, and Trump have used that facility to torture people in horrific and inhumane ways, with none of them going to shut it down. I sincerely hope Biden will do the right thing, but I won't hold my breath. The end credits roll detailing the aftermath of Mohamedou's struggle was just heartbreaking.
This was great acting all around, and I would've never recognized Doctor Strange.
A-list stars in a meh movie. Not the greatest thing you'll see this summer, but give it a go.
And that's that. This was a great series, but the last two seasons had Cory reallyyyyy out of character, and I didn't like how the writers turned Eric from a loveable goofball into a complete moron. The thing I don't get is, Topanga, Shawn, Cory, and Angela still had 2 years of college left, so why end it here? That said, I wish Morgan had gotten greater focus throughout the series, as she was left forgotten and neglected during the early seasons.
And they should've brought back Mr. Turner! He had a huge involvement in Shawn's life, and they wrote him off like he was nothing. There was no excuse for not having him appear in this or the graduation episodes.
The whole wedding thing was rushed, and it should've ended with Ray and Lisa getting married, especially after that ghost wife episode. Pity that they waited 22 episodes to bring Roger back. Really felt like he should've ended up with one of the girls.
Was very strange seeing Ray, a "Republican" Senator, giving a damn about healthcare.
Underrated series, and can't wait for season 2! Wonder who will be the new Flash, Green Lantern, Fate, Sandman, and/or Spectre? Would be interesting to see a Superman crossover. Guess I'll have to finally give Green Arrow/Black Lightning a try.
Edit: I have to agree, that I didn't see too much downside in allowing the ISA's plans to go through. Universal healthcare, solar power, etc.? All needed things. And it seemed like most of the people who would die would've been the assholes against such humane things (though, some people likely would've died from having too strong a will, like Pat). But damn, progressing those several states, while evil people died? Hourman was right to question if they were on the right side. Yes, at the end of the day, the ISA were still villains who killed their own families, but still.
"Remember, remember the 5th of November..."
This was a brilliant movie, and I don't know why it's taken me so long to watch it! It really reminds me of 1984 but with a happy ending. V represented a culminated idea, and was more than just a person.
And, I'm finished! What a wonderful, wholesome, hilarious show! Fuller House has big shoes to fill.
Was bored out of my mind. Have no clue what happened in the movie.
This trio was undoubtedly top-notch! So glad I watched it, and the music numbers were just incredible. The best part had to be the end at the theater premiere!
