This movie is heavily actual to our time :)
Why they did to Lola is unacceptable. Also is so family safe that nothing left from looney toons.
Music was the worst. Tom sat at the piano, started to play nice smooth jazz and then his voices turned to auto tune rap shitty vocal. I have seen transition of godless music to the dumpster noises so fast, you nailed it.
This spoiled the whole movie. Rest than that it's ok.
This one of the stupidest movies I’ve seen for last 10 years of my life. Robbie Williams would be spinning in his grave
Music is a total crap, never racers listens to this auto tuned shite. Also most of action scenes are like old Chinese movies, physics just doesn’t exists in here. Ordinary people turned to super heroes who can withstand anything, jumping from burning trucks, look at the explosion with zero impact.. it’s very lame. Story is not bad though, ideas for some tech are not bad too, but that car in the space is a really bad joke.
This is the most useless tv series I've ever seen in my life. I've really tried hard to watch whole episode.. but there's no logic in anywhere.. it's for 14 teenagers, or maybe even 12yo.. Idk.. adult people acting teens being idiots.
Lack of science knowledge in the script is just over the board. The only thing I've liked are the interior of the space station. Don't bother watching it, there's nothing to see in here at all.
I've actually really enjoyed seeing certain actors in here, they have big potentials. But this whole thing with magic is not my cup of tea. I've expected some martial arts, this is more a cartoon I'd say. But main character was ok. 6/10 at most.
Mark Dacascos is the best MMA artist of the 90s. This movie just proves that also as Double Dragon movie :)
I've really been glad to see this safe cracker again in this movie, but everything further was just worser and worser. I mean the guy gathered a perfect team, then because of his daughter emotions the whole teams mainly got nothing because everyone had to rescue her. I mean what is this..? There's nothing worser than a team mate who brings a person who thinks only within the range of emotion boundaries and spoils everything. I just can't stand such characters, it makes me wanna shot that character in a head that the story would go on as it should. And I see this more often on Netflix, one character which spoils everything with storm of emotions.. and I don't see any reason watching such movie any further because of such character. They make me wanna kill someone, waste of my time. Story is usually is about sequence of events which leads to something, in this case it's a stupid teen who destroyed the whole point of everything that's happening in the movie. I want to see a happy end how whole team takes money and goes to celebrate life, what we have instead? a psycho teen which destroyed everyone's dream. She should've been the one who got fed to the Queen instead of that cop, she totally deserved that. You've got such a nice actors, color editing, pretty much all shootings and stuff are quire good, I can't imagine it's better, but the whole scenario is just about nothing, everyone being a nanny to some teen who spoiled everything for everyone. And even more, after such nuclear explosion, everyone are already dead basically, in year or even faster. This movie script is absolute tragedy and spoiled my nice evening, I'm angry asf that I've spent 2 hours on this crap.
And a separate compliments to the director: maybe you should finish some video shooting school first? why half of frames are unfocused or left unfocused when a character leaves a scene? This is so amateur, even if you're using this as an effect it's highly disturbing to watch, you're basically made me stop watching film 5 times because of this effect.
I was really expecting that character would develop into something better than presented in the first episode. Although he is presented as a smart kid, there so many stupidities around that I can't even count. His own old phone wasn't secured, so that woman from banana club could read it without a problem when kidnapped Gyuri. Gyuri is a smart one, she went to school during the night time to hide money, while Jisoo is complete retard, went to check money during the day time, also having money in his backpack is also completely dumb idea. I mean as the one who designed a schema for a sex trafficking security, I've really expected more from him. Once his phone number was exposed to that detective (when she called the Uncle), he didn't even bothered to change the phone. Also when Gyuri stole his phone, he could've delete all the data remotely by find-my-phone service, or similar. It such a basics, I mean Jisoo was mumbling to those gang guys some IT stuff about DNS, so if he knows basic of IT networking, he should know basics of security. Every episode is full of such incompetent decisions, this really kills the vibe, also makes me to hate this character even more with each episode. Either this script been written by incompetent teenager, or these mistakes been done intentionally for simple minded people. Idk. But this is one of the worst korean drama I've watched so far, two characters which are really ok are Lee and Cho, rest of the crowd are useless people who doing stuff they don't understand nothing about, especially that detective.
Putting modern day culture stuff into times that are represented in the movie doesn't seem right to me at all. If you're doing everything by the book don't put stuff which wasn't in the book simple as that. 6/10 for this.
I've really tired of Netflix political correctness. Every TV series has it, especially this one. I mean read after me: not every tv series has to have a woman battling for her rights, lots of different races/nationalities, and the whole LGBT community in it (transgenders, lesbians, and homosexuals). I mean c'mon it's like putting salt or sugar in every dish out there. It's just a quiet town somewhere in the US, how can you have so many nations in one place historically? There's no authenticity left in the script at all. This script is very political and those things are shadowing everything else. And please don't get me wrong, I'm not against LGBT or any race out there, or feminism, it's just like putting all world problems into one place, which are totally unrelated to the story and environment itself. It looks like indoctrination to me. Also, it's biased, why men are hated in this script so much? How is that fair? That's why I call this TV series political indoctrination
Also, you have too much blood in here, seeing scissors in someone's neck with streaming blood - is not what Sabrina tv series been about. I mean I've been watching it when I was 10 years old. Blood is fine but not a bloody balsamation of body on the table either.
There are some fillers you can just skip them and you won't miss a plot. And some strange stuff like a guy is using an iPhone 7 but it's the only time I've seen anyone having a mobile phone at all. It seemed like they showing some 70s at most, but now I'm not sure anymore after seeing that iPhone 7 :D
Good things though.. great actress, the intriguing concept of the satan.
I’ve seen like 10 kdramas at most.. and I’m quite satisfied with this one. For me, as for software engineer, it was impressive to see many tech stuff which was so true. Every technical term, every stuff that happened on computer screen was not bullshit, it was the way it is in real life. Although not sure why to use windows instead of Linux when you’re developing with python :) but else than that it’s perfect. Regarding business side everything I’ve heard from investor guy sounded like for real, they truelly done their homework and consulted regarding many stuff especially the way startup accelerator works :) Using Lidar technology in self driving car was just my personal wow part :) it’s quite new tech and it’s in the script of 2020 tv series - that’s a level up. Else than that ending was crap. Love triangle was good I believe, I’ve been in one, that represents almost my own experience. Not too much romance, there are very dramatic places which doesn’t feel like soap opera, it does look dramatic for real :) that’s probably the only Korean tv series which were so close to real life than other Korean tv series I’ve seen previously. I really wish to see season 2 :)
I’ve learned a lot of lessons for myself indeed. Actually best part when Sam tell his impressions and facts to us, viewers, like in psychologist session. Best moments in the show. The only couple of things that getting me annoyed which Netflix does all the time is that every Netflix series has lgbt, it’s not the problem about lgbt, but it’s in every series.. I mean where’s transgenders or whatever why it’s always lesbians? Or tv series without any? Its kind of I always see only lesbians.. not fair. Next is why there’s always Indian guy acts the strangest guy in tv series? Why Indians? It’s like offending Indians.. also too much strange figures of speech all over the place. This is so repetitive across all Netflix tv shows If there are teens in there or any comedy.
I've been skeptical about this show from the start, as it's so lightweight and focused much on a pop-culture with all that US-celebrity-posh slang or whatever, that it was even hard to find a point in this story. But after they started to involve philosophy studies also after certain plot twists, things got more interesting for sure, they really touched good points of morality and I've become interested on what's happen next.
I’m on Japanese Netflix and this pop-up, thought would be some deep good stuff like most Asian production, but no, it’s just wanna-be-deep movie. Indeed, the best thing in this movie is her father who really understand life. Pretty much all other characters are dump as shoe, read few books and they can’t express their feelings, tone of the voices are so not sincere it’s even sad. It’s difficult even to understand what point director even wanted to present for the viewer. Paul and Elle didn’t get any connection actually, Elle was ignorant up till the end, no sign of love or appreciation. Paul is like a caveman, no manners, no culture, straightforward as a railroad. What should’ve been learn in here? Idk
You now plot is so silly that probably making Katya main character would make at least not a bad drama out of this crap. Events doesn't make any sense at all. I mean what the point of everything that's happened in this movie? We don't know background of main character, we don't know background of second character either, all those people in scenario are completely random and doesn't make any sense at all. Even movie about tire makes more sense than this.
What the hell, professor is back? He's dead, why they didn't show anything. This scenario doesn't make any sense.
I wonder why trakt.tv doesn't host native movie names, it was really hard to find it here.
I'm just astonished how director picked up actors, this is the best ever combination of actors you can come across in such topic! Story although is not something special, but if you had similar experience in your life, you'll appreciate the way it's presented in here. I do understand main character feelings very well, and this is the actual life in a nutshell, simple, hurtful, temporal, you have to accept it and move on.
CG was so cheap that I couldn't just stand it. Absolutely not for me, they went too cheap in many places and I had a nice nap during fighting scenes. I mean c'mon this movie could be lot better. Instead of involving USA culture in here they could involve Ireland for example. I hope next movie will be lot better.
This movie made me anxious a lot. They justified bombing other countries with "it's better than to do nothing". I mean wtf :)? You've bombed someone home, they'll bomb yours. I'm against wars, but the first who started this is to blame. Stay away on your land and there will be peace in this world. If it's how every american thinks, than I'm glad not to live in USA. Who ever get this idea to justify killing in such manner is disgrace. This movie proves that USA is sick and imperialistic, and basically all terrorists movement in the past 20 years is USA to blame.
Plot is really silly. From SCIFI point of view, it's REALLY weak. But as action movie it's worth to see.... The are valuable lessons in here too. I've really enjoyed operators work! There are some really nice action scenes which deserves respect to whole team. If not the plot, and I mean a rushed story, and a weak prediction how things could ago if this would really happen, then this movie would deserve at least 9 stars.. but for now sorry not more than 7.. There's too much silly situations, if any creature that has intellect would exist in such huge amount... just imagine what would happen.. I'd say that all countries of the world, with all possible troops, would isolate that territory by 500 miles around.. and not even a bee would fly near borders. Ahrr anyway.. plot could be lot better!
Sorry but plot is really horrible. I won't even spoil anything for you guys.. nothing started, nothing ended.. random people live, on some UFO event.. no lessons learned, no idea what's the point of this scenario at all.
Many things can be said about this movie. Yeah, you can underestimate it by it's ratings, but take a look who directed it, The Watchowski Brothers!!
There are many failovers around actually. The environment was too fast paced. Part of plot reminds too much of fairy tails, which I'm not sure if this was necessary. There was too much action. But that's basically all minuses I can list.
Now if you think for a moment, this movie is a assumption of how reality may be. And those assumptions made not randomly. If you're into cosmology, there's plenty of facts that's actually made me to love this movie even more. For example, let me list some: 1) The Tether Shuttle Mission STS-75 footage which been filmed with infrared cameras 2) Boomerang Nebula 3) Fermi Paradox (TYPE3 civilization) 4) The multiple proofs from thousands of years ago about aliens, like hieroglyphs of Egyptians and Inx which reminds aliens ships too much.. this is scientifically fact actually (this is for the movies argument about dinosaurs extinction). Combining all of these, movie plot seems to be a really astonishing assumption of how things can be in our universe :) And having conspiracy theory involved this looks and feels even better!
So for cosmology fan this would be actually quite interesting. And I've forgot to mention astonishing costumes, and all environment which has some accents from steampunk to elves.. Personally I'd give this movie 8/10, I'd watch this again, because of some philosophy and science involved. Not a matrix but at least there's 1/6th of it in here.
