The grade of 904L Pipe Fitting of the stainless steel type is non-stabilized austenitic stainless steel which has low carbon content compared to the standard ones. This grade is designed to be used in severe corrosive conditions, and particularly for sulphuric acid, it application has been proved time and again. In accordance to structure internally, 904L Pipe Fitting at Instinox is less sensitive to precipitation ferrite and crack phases than the normal austenitic ones which have high molybdenum content.
