I've gotta watch more movies with Chadwick Boseman. This movie was very good, but it was really him that drew me in.
Snoozefest. mother! 2. The way people were talking about this movie like it was the scariest thing ever in the world is just insane. I was bored for most of it. I'm done with movies that stay on the same slow zoom on a stationary character with increased buzzing and then CUT to silence. It's been done to death. And the scene that is supposedly so traumatizing, that was a great scene, I shouted, it was pretty sweet, but it's not a "things are different now" situation. This falls right in line with other "modern classics" that were hyped beyond for me like It Follows, The Babadook, and the Witch. I don't care for any of those and a lot of people do. But I'm just not seeing it. Same thing with this. I will give props to the trailer though. Great trailer.
Pretentious and genuinely awful. Can't understand the hype about it.
Even in a dystopian future that's probably centuries from now and where most signs of human civilization have been wiped out, plastic bottles still exist :pensive:. Please start recycling y'all.
I pray there are no more scenes of the queen praying. That was too much!!!
The queen scenes are weird, overall this episode was great and with a nice time lapse.
maybe because I grew up with all those games, I totally love this anime.
Unique and captivating. A love letter to Japanese 80's and 90's arcade culture and console era mixed with a surprisingly sweet love story.
A love letter to some, a fun time for most. Enjoy this!
I know it's a bullshit movie okay, everyone who watched it knows that! But it's some great bullshit and I'm glad i watched it. Trailer was right, it is the Michael Bayest movie of all Michael Bay movies.
Story good. Agendas bad. Could have been great.
Whoaa.. I didn’t see that coming at all. DAAAMNNN HELEN!
This might have been the best season so far. Absolutely phenomenal.
And what an ending. I was thinking about a million ways they might resolve this but that took me completly off guard.

This was a great anime. Anime cliche was in the least and plot was really impressive.
It was similar to 'Outbreak Company' but with more intense background. Ending was not much satisfying and they tried to rush the show to completion.
I would definitely like to watch another season with a bit of closure to some parts of the story.
It was nice to watch, but you can see there is much more of a story and they needed it to keep it short. It would have been better as a 10 episode mini serie. More backstories and showing different characters and there powers. The effects where nice, but has gone too quick to wrap it up.
Only the first episode is out thus far but I liked what I saw. Was pretty genius really to use 50s racism as a horror element. I found the sundown town scene tense as hell.
I didn’t know what to expect when I started watching this. Nothing much happens as the story goes along but somehow is engaging, maybe the simple story playing along, meeting the characters or just simply....good acting.... but by the end of the episode I was stuck to my sofa..... I need more!!!!!
bitches aint shit, fuck rachel
So here is a lesson in physics, everyone in that train died. Yanking it to a halt from full speed 1m before the wall is just as bad as just hitting it. Also even if that grapling hook could hold the train, the door it was hooked into would be bye bye and the train would still be a jumbled 450 person coffin.
And the Witch Flew!!!! Mummy, Mummy look I've got wings. I think that was one of the best falls I've ever seen on TV.
Am I the only one a little confused about this episode ? Hope it all gets cleared up in the next one.
You are not alone , but fear no evil and it should be clear next week
I liked this movie since I was a child. Very entertaining and original for a 1998 movie.
Why does it feel like every time I come back and re-invest in this series, I end up feeling bamboozled by the end? I find myself having to echo the same complaints I had last season, the show prioritizes looks over substance, add to it the ridiculously slow pacing and frankly irrelevant elements that eat away at the available runtime and my frustration begins to add up. I mean honestly, how much content did they adapt this season? Ten pages worth? Whatever...
I feel I have to ask myself if investing further is a wise decision or not and I hate to do that because I'm a massive fan of Gaiman and especially of this title. I will stick around for next season, if there is one, and depending on how that goes, I might have to drop this puppy.
I at least enjoyed the fight between Ishmael and Painkiller! Also cool way to take Ishmael out. It looks like only one more episode left before this show is permanently gone.
-Smart boy: We should try again with small objects, and then bacteria, plants..
-Hot girl: Nah, let's try it ourselves!
-Smart boy: Ok!
The power of boner is stronger than reason.
Not M. Night Shyamalan's best movie, but a satisfactory movie that succeeded in what it was trying to do. The tension was established quite early in the movie, and it never let up until the very end. I will say the end of the movie did leave with more to be desired, but I can't say the movie didn't keep me watching throughout.
