I'm beginning to think ending this show after 3 seasons was the right decision
Fun throwback to 80 testosterone action flicks. The tone is a bit off, and doesn't really match the fun goofiness of those old movies. It kind of takes itself too seriously. But it's still a kick to see all these guys together, blasting and punching everything in their path.
Senseless fun. Great cast - although not sure why Bruce and Arnie were even in the film - only had a few seconds of screen time. Sly and Statham kicked ass, as usual.
Democrats losing their collective x#x# , totally awesome.
They really jumped the shark with this show. I’ve checked out. Can’t watch anymore of this abomination to a legendary show. Hope they will shelf whatever they have left and lock them away. Maybe use them as a torcher tool for terrorists.
Boo that was terrible. Fail.
Probably the worst episode I've watched thus far. Didn't enjoy it at all. The concept is just lame and it's just a viewing embarassment.
You can feel the sleaziness of the production, probably due to the director, but this one gets ragged on a little too much, essentially just because of the twist. Which is ridiculous, as it's a pretty solid entry into the franchise...
The longest 1 hour and 36 minutes in my life ever. I know that Jason is "special" but since when he can use teleportation? This was so lame and boring. Jason should stay in Crystal lake like in previous movies. The worst chapter ever. I am used to stupid behaviour of characters but this was new higher level of stupidity.
If you love the classic ghostbusters stay away of this trash.
This movie was just... stupid! I mean, if you like CGI action scenes, then go ahead and watch it... but if you like smart plot with good acting and good one liners then don't watch this mess... 4 out of 10...
I was very much looking forward to seeing this. However, sadly i did not like it very much. Not sure i can put my finger on exactly what it is that turned me off to this movie. The acting was great. The story was very good. I enjoy seeing alternate origin stories for these larger than life comic book characters. And this was a very human, realistic origin story. And yet, I still did not like the movie that much.
This is going to be one of those posts where I go against the mainstream but my reaction when I watched this movie was: You got to be f… kidding me?
The only resemblance to the REAL joker in this movie is the name. As far as I am concerned this movie is an insult to the fans of Batman and the REAL Joker.
The “Joker” in this move is a unintelligent deranged nutcase. There is a sob story in the background about how he became that way which is totally uninteresting.
The REAL joker is a intelligent criminal mastermind. I was waiting for this nutcase to actually become that for the entire movie. Spoiler alert, it never happened! This guy starts as a useless sobbing nutcase and he ends the movie as the same useless sobbing nutcase.
The movie has NOTHING to do with the real Joker. It is a blatant attempt to garner support for a unrelated psychopathic thriller by using the Joker name. If it would have been advertised as such I probably would have, if not liked it, so at least appreciated it for it’s qualities. It is indeed a well done movie technically and the main character is indeed excellently performed.
However, even if I try to distance myself from the deceitful Joker label, I find it overall boring, too long and really a movie about a psychopath probably made by someone with mental issues himself. But then that’s Hollywood today.
That the politically biased and elitist so called “critics” on sites like Rotten Tomatoes like it is not really surprising but I have to confess that I am somewhat surprised at the rave ratings by real viewers on some other sites.
Honestly, I was expecting to be disappointing by this movie. Then I am always cautious about movies getting rave reviews, especially from the previously mentioned totally useless and crappy “review” site. I did not expect this level of disappointment though. Epic fail as far as I am concerned.
It's basically the first one but worse. The CGI is laughably bad.
It's hard for me to say this about a John Carpenter movie, but I really didn't like "Escape From L.A.". It's a cheap imitation of "Escape From New York". Kurt Russell's portrayal of Snake Plissken is disappointing. He just whispers and groans a lot. Cliff Robertson's turn as the President is lame. The special effects are really bad, especially when I realized this is three years AFTER "Jurassic Park". I'm sure they didn't have the budget but the CGI is horrible and the practical effects may be even worse.
But the worst thing about this movie is that it's boring. How something with Russell, Steve Buscemi, Bruce Campbell, Pam Grier and Stacy Keach can be so dull is beyond comprehension.
Formatted writing, diversity propaganda, social justice : for sure, we are in 2020.
But where are sci-fi, fantasy and mistery ?
This is a very good film, not anywhere near as good as the first four of the series, but for only one reason. 10 minutes.
The Japanese release of 'Battle' contains an extra 10 minutes of footage that I feel is not only important to the storyline, but it completely changes the feel of the film. Without those crucial 10 minutes of footage, the viewer is thus given a somewhat watered down t.v. series type version of the film, originally done to attract a more younger audience. I personally love this film either way, Trust me, before critisizing 'Battle For The Planet Of The Apes', seek out the Japanese release and see for yourself just how different (and better) a decent film can become with only 10 minutes of added storyline.
Jesus. This is as bad as Suicide Squad honestly. Harley Quinn was way better in that movie, and here it's just all over the place, with rough story-telling, bad acting from pretty much everyone (the cop and Ewan McGregor especially), the same dumb exposition, and marketed as if Deadpool and Deadpool 2 were the style they went for. I wasted my money so you can save it.
What a sweet film. I have been wanting to watch this for a while. Shirley Temple is amazing as always and the rest of the cast is just as good. Lovely storyline too.
This movie got a lot of bad reviews but I really enjoyed watching this. I didn't expect the whole 'angels and demons' part in this movie which made the story more beautiful and different from other love stories. Beautiful fairytale.
A master piece to show us what Christ suffered for our sins, for the salvation of the entire world.
Wow. It is an amazing feat of writing to make the most pathetic and annoying character in the original cartoon (Orko) into a nuanced, sympathetic character. Congrats to Smith & the writers on that!
"buncha slack jawwed faggots!..this stuff'll make you a goddamn sexual ty-rannasaurus...just like mmee"
Another soulless movie from the soulless mega corporation, not funny, bad cgi, shit story, nothing good to see here …
Too much social commentary, not enough horror (or suspense). Easily the least impressive Peele production.
What in the unholy movie hell, did i just watch. Im pretty much speechless. So many stupid things in this movie. But also feels like i just did magic mushrooms and had a weird trip thru Cages twisted mind.
Fair show, but they didn't need to crap all over Gene Roddenberry's legacy and original concept like this.
Yo who TF talks during Paddington. Have some respect for a masterpiece
One of the worst final seasons I can remember for any show.
Do not expect :asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol:literally:asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol: anything from this movie. Sad that the exceptional part 1 has such a terribly bad sequel. I am really disappointed and sincerely regret the time wasted.
