Made me want to buy a smoker.
Hurr Hurr girls talking about geeky things. How weird. Oh they talked about rom coms, it's back to 'normal' now.
Really not sure why I'm still watching this show. It's just insulting, the jokes stopped being funny long ago and the only likable characters are usually the butt of the jokes. I'll be surprised if I finish the season coz I'm done with this show.
Whats not to love, catchup with the crew of the Firefly class ship 'Serenity' 3 years after the the now much loved TV show ended. Follow this rag-tag, loveable crew on a new adventure set directly after the events of Episode 14 'Objects in Space'. The script itself is based on ideas that were orginally planned for Season 2 (which of course never happened) instead the film now sets to answer all the unanswered questions, fans had from the first season and what can I say, Joss Whedon has done another magnifcent job and Serenity makes you realise how much you loved Firefly. Watch, enjoy and fall in love with the characters and Serenity herself.
Best couch gag in years. A pretty good episode, too! More!
Lol pie sitting fetish! Only Jimmy could come up with that!
Wilson Fisk continues to be the best part of this show.
okay but where was Jesus
Fun. Not joke filled but nonetheless funny film
The Breakfast Club was great, probably one of the best teen movies I've ever seen. Despite the stereotypes that all the characters are, they're still fun to watch and I particularly liked Allison. The only major problems I had with it were the really bland adults and the absolutely terrible ending.
The coupling up was completely unnecessary and Allison was way cooler pre-makeover; she basically changed everything that made her who she is because hurr gotta wear makeup and be pretty. I would have been perfectly happy if everybody had stayed the way they were and just been friendly with each other. Grrr...
Well, I compleatly enjoyed the movie. I like the music in the movie, it fits in perfectly. The screenplay was nice and acting was good, but the ending for me felt rushed. It feels like they could have made it better, but I still liked it! But I don't know how the book is, so can't say how different the book and the movie is. Maybe I should read the book!
And what is it with movies and trailers lately. In the trailer when Vee goes to the cop car, the police officer know her name and seems to be "part of the game". But it was not like that in the movie. And when i first saw the trailer, that part made the movie seem "better?". But well, I guess the trailers now days lie about the movies ;) cough cough suicide squad
South Park never disappoints! The member-berries stuff was hilarious.
Watching Jimmy bring ruin to an elderly woman's social life for his own gain was flat out disgusting.
It was the first time I've ever felt genuinely disgusted with him. All the other lies and schemes - even his bar scams as shitty as they were - didn't feel as repulsive to watch as seeing him manipulate those women like that.
Pride, anger and desperation have stripped him of his moral limits. If he ever had any they're gone now. He's not Jimmy anymore, he's Saul Goodman.
It was an okay movie. Anything is still possible for the Dark Universe, but I hope it will be better. Russel Crowe's part was good and Tom Cruises' action scenes were also pretty good. Sadly the comedy in this movie was pretty bad. Jake Johnson felt really out of place and was only funny for the first 10 minutes.
There also was a problem with the chemistry between Nick and Jenny. It felt so weird sometimes.
Overal the movie felt rushes and could be done so much better. The action is good in this movie. Hope the rest of the Dark Universe will be better.
Nick Fury, Deadpool and Elektra fight together to take down Commissioner Gordon
For the first time this season I got tears in my eyes. Gordon Ramsey has a such big heart. I am glad that he did what he did. Gabriel absolutely deserves it. Very talented young man. And Jason is amazing as always. He is my favourite by far.
This was the first episode I genuinely liked. Still got a vast amount of flaws, but I couldn't help myself to smile at the conclusion with the karaoke.
This episode had me in tears. I don't recall ever giving a 10 to a Travelers episode before, but this one won it with all my heart. Amazing writing and great acting delivered us an unexpected heartbreaking Marcy's back story.
I have been watching the big bang Theory ever since it first aired. Being an IT student at the time, the uncomfortable social situations and nerdy jokes spoke to me. However, much has changed throughout the seasons, more about that later.
We start out with our four nerdy main characters. There is the recognizable fact of the three people with higher degrees (PHD holding Sheldon, Leonard and Raj) who make fun and feel themselves better than "simple" engineer Howard. There is the desperate search for love coming from both Howard and Raj, and the differentiation between the confident yet single Howard and the timid, uncertain just-as-single Raj. Sheldon is the one who has no sense of what's going on around him, and is only interested in his own world. Leonard is the humble cute guy who manages to get a date from time to time, an inspiration to Howard and Raj, although his on/off fling with Leslie gives us the impression that he isn't really that successful after all.
Then we have the obvious babe, Penny, the complete opposite of our four nerds. She makes something stir in all three of them, but follows the cliché of going out with the "wrong" men, being dumb, and ignoring their advances.
Even though these are all cliche’s, the inside jokes and the disarming clumsiness of the four guys made the first seasons well worth watching. Gradually however, as the show became more popular, the writers started to abandon what once made it so.
With the introduction of Bernadette and Amy the female characters are drastically expanded, but they don't add any real value to the show. Bernadette is the caricature of Howards mother, where as Amy is an attempt to make Sheldon look more human. At the same time, we go from a show with it's own flair to a one-in-a-dozen sitcom. The laughing tape went from being an accessory to being the main engine of the show. The characters became aware they were going to make a pun and started smiling like idiots before they said it, and laughing like people high on weed after someone made it. The longer this series continues, the more painful it becomes to watch. The lines that are supposed to be jokes are simply not funny. The acting and stereotyping are more bearable in a highschool play. And, as stated in another review made before this one, the show changes from laughing with the characters to laughing at the characters. From a nerdy show to a show about nerds.
Conclusion: if you're looking for some nerdy fun, watch the first three or four seasons. After that, it gets the same illness so many American shows suffer from, namely that it becomes a cash cow for the producers and starts a long, painfully slow, continuously prolonged process of dying a silent dead. They never seem to know when to end something great instead of going on to make it something mediocre.
My name is Barry Allen, and I am the dumbest Man Alive. To the Earth-2 people I am an ordinary speedster, but secretly with the help of Dr Wells I gave my speed to Zoom and became a normal guy. I hunted down the man who killed Jay Garrick, but in doing so, he took Caitlin as a prisoner and my speed was gone. And I am the only one dumb Enough to do it. I am the Dumb
The showrunners, probably: Okay, guys, this is our big season finale. We're sparing no expense. We need it to be epic. There's going to be a huge fight between Mallus and a perfect being of pure light that the Legends are going to create using their Totems. Any ideas as to how it's going to go down?
A writer: Oh, I don't know, how about A GIANT FUCKING BEEBO KILLING MALLUS WITH THE POWER OF A CUDDLE?
The showrunners, losing their goddamn minds, tears of joy streaming down their faces: Mark, you are a fucking genius.
Basically, whenever I think that we've reached maximum craziness on this show, they go ahead and set the bar even higher. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. I spent the entire final showdown in a fetal position, gasping for air. My stomach still hurts. I fucking love LoT so much. Who would've thought back in season 1 that it would become the most entertaining Arrowverse show, huh? Certainly not this gal! And I have to say, I've never been happier to be proven wrong. These idiots have stolen my heart. I simply adore each and every one of them. The new additions this season, Zari (or, as I like to call her, The Actual Love Of My Life) and Wally (The Flash didn't deserve you, sweetie, but don't worry, LoT is going to treat you right) have fit in seamlessly, just like Nate and Amaya did last season. What a bunch of losers. I would die for them. I can't keep a smile off my face when I'm thinking about them. They deserve an Emmy for Best Ensemble.
Sara Lance is the queen of everything. She's easily one of my favorite characters ever. Her big speech was amazing. I couldn't stop grinning. I would follow her into any battle.
I got sad about Amaya, but Maisie is still set to be a series regular next season, so I guess we don't have to say goodbye to this lovely character just yet. I'm not sure about Rip though. Could he really be dead this time? I... don't know how I feel about this. On one hand, yup, he can fuck right off, but on the other, he did kind of sacrifice himself to help the team, so it feels wrong to trash talk him?
Damien Dahrk sacrificing himself for his daughter made me emotional. He did some truly horrible things, but he managed not to be selfish in the end. Nora's pain was palpable. I've grown very attached to her character, I hope she'll return at some point in the future.
Jax! He's married, and he has a beautiful baby girl named Martina! I'm not crying, you're crying. I was so happy to see him. Helen of Troy, Good Kuasa and Jonah Hex were fun additions as well.
Jes Macallan is coming back next season, which means the Avalance ship is still sailing! Sara doesn't have a great track record with romantic relationships, so I'm delighted that this one is going to stick for at least a little longer. She deserves some happiness.
With Constantine joing the cast full time next season, things are bound to get even more insane. I can't tell you how excited I am. I do kind of feel bad for the Legends, though. They got like what, 2 minutes of peace and quiet? No rest for the wicked, I guess.
Season 4, here we come!
Outstanding episode that shows how Michael, deep down, believes in what he does and the people he supervises, no matter how inept he may be at his job. There's lots of laughs in his embarrassing speech to Ryan's class, and lots of great human moments, like when he gives Pam the acceptance she needs when her art show's going poorly. Really great work on both the comedy and emotion front.
Kate McKinnon is a little too much. Mila Kunis is good. Just your typically studio comedy. There were some funny jokes but for the most part it is forgettable.
This is ok. The action is decent. The jokes don't always work but the ones that do are funny. The story makes no sense and people seem to fast travel instantly. Most of the characters are completely forgettable. It feels like it trying to be raunchy just for the sake of being raunchy. But I still had some fun with it.
This is the lamest comic book movie in a while. The first act is terrible but once the symbiote finally get to Eddie Brock it picks up. The best part by far is Tom Hardy talking to himself. Everyone else is just bland. The effects are fine but the final fight is just a total CGI fest and kinda dull. This isn't worth paying for but it's worth watching to see Tom Hardy act crazy.
Edit: I did like it a little bit more on rewatch just because Tom Hardy is going all out.
Even though this whole season sucked big time I am happy they have given us a finale it truly deserved. It finally brought the magic back from when it 1st started. This whole season I couldn't connect to any of the storylines but this final episode was the true heart of the Oncers bringing back everyone was the right thing and I'm very happy with this ending..well done writers
a lot of action, killing, blood, naked chicks, sex, good acting!
Just how i like my horror movies.
Better than all the Halloween movies combined.
The movie just flows so well. Robert Redford gives a fantastic (last?) performance. He is so charismatic and charming that I wouldn’t mind getting robbed from him. Everyone else gives a good performance too. I loved how this looked and felt like an old movie.
The film has a strong potential worthy of a Black Mirror episode yet the technology presented in the film is not even explored at its finest. The ending felt bleak but is an interesting choice to make the audience come up with their own theories.
Idk what to do now, i'm dead inside.
