Writer #1 hey whats the quickest way to make a somewhat likeable character hated enough so people wouldn't complain if we suddenly killed her
Writer #2 just make her sadistic and have her threaten to torture a fan favourite
I had hope due to the director and some good casting. Then they added John Cena....lol.
Remember that edgy thing called "Elfen Lied"? Yup, this is by the same author and while I'm fuzzy on the details on that it certainly is similar in the way of inflicting violence to teenage girls. It is also probably the only 1-cour show that changed openings on the second last episode and then even to a terrible crunkcore-thingy (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C__joUsxAPw).
Despite rating it just a "4" I want to stress that I got plenty of enjoyment out of it... just for all the wrong reasons - or maybe not! Going by the anime alone one has to either believe this is a work by hacks (which it kinda is) or well versed people intentionally taking the piss out of genre conventions.
Anyways, you should not watch this show if you expect any kind of logic or common sense. The story is ridiculous and badly paced. It also follows the same pattern up until the end where they just throw in an ending because they can. What made the show for me was it's schizophrenic tone, switching between comedy bits set to goofy music with some romance to heavily censored action - with a straight face. Really, it's amazing how much bullshit they managed to stuff in there. If you want to watch something so bad that it's good give it a go.
Not nearly as good as the first. A little up it's own hindside which moves from suspense to being kind of dull. 5/10
Glad to have a sequel of Sicario. Allthough first part was better, this still is worth watching to skip some time. Build-up was good, but the plot seemed rushed. So it can feel like a dissappointment.
First part was way better...
I really hope the 3rd season of DD is better than the second seasons of everything else. I hate season 2 of JJ. Unhappy about season 2 Luke Cage and disappointed in season 2 Iron First.
Compared to the previous seasons this was a disappointment. Well, this one had disgusting gore and splatter galore but it lacked the subtle horror of the previous seasons.
I really like this show
Will someone please give Howard a hug? And someone else, punch Howard Prime in the face? Thanks.
Seriously, on top of everything he's already been through before the show started, now we know he had built his life around a wife who perhaps wasn't worthy of his devotion. On top of it, his face is being rubbed in the opportunities Howard Prime had and ruined it, all the opportunities he probably wishes he would've had.
And how can that dude burn the roast every time with two wives directing him? Does he do it on purpose? Some men just want to watch the roast burn...
really good! not expecting the end!
One of the few cases where the sequel is as good, if not better than the original. Now I patiently wait to complete the trilogy with 28 Months Later (come on Danny, hurry up).
Each week this show shows me that its the best anime on tv at the moment!
This movie is a decent homage to Reservoir Dogs, but ultimately pretty forgettable. It's hard to see the point when Reservoir Dogs has been around so much longer, and is still just significantly better.
It never really felt like the main character of Gannon was ever in any danger, regardless of the secrets he was keeping.
The cast of characters was initially pretty fun, until they all started acting in ways no real person in their situation would act like.
There are worse movies. But that's not much of a recommendation.
Jason Clarke? Really? Please Hollywood, stop hiring this guy... he's awful.
This show has nothing exceptional about it at all. It's pretty lame and cookie cutter. Disappointing.
I hoped a lot from this movie because of The Conjuring and Annabelle but it was not so good. Story was very simple. At most of the scenes i was laughing instead of getting shocked. I was also to blame for getting so hyped up!
10 for the first story line and 5 for the others.
Flat out amazing cast (Michaela Watkins and Rob Corddry is stacking the deck to an obscene degree), but it's a bit difficult to see what's going to make this show stand out beyond its ensemble. I guess it's not going to be too much of a hardship to watch these fine actors hang out and be silly for twenty minutes each week, but they basically resolved the conflict of the central concept within the first episode.
This building is evidently very high security, covering up high tech shenanigans... but you can easily get in by pulling a couple wires in a box in the parking lot. oh and no guards.
Wow, a nice surprise! I felt some Last of Us vibes.
This was great until the last scene. Looks like its gonna be one of those shitty harems. I'm gonna keep watching till it gets unbearable.
The Meg.
Alternative title: Everything wrong with contemporary Hollywood in 2 hours.
Alternative title II: This one’s for you, China.
Just shut up, Meg.
2/10
I liked a couple scenes... glad I didn't go to the theater to see it.
The first half is the best the show has been since the Sioux Falls massacre from Season 2. I am disappointed it was only 25 minutes and not a full 50.
I don't know who this kid is that plays Cyborg, but he cannot act. Every inflection is forced. Trying way to hard
Cyborg is insufferable. I love everything else though, this show is hilarious.
I'm probably apart of the minority on this and there may be a few people who will get pissed off at me for saying this, but Jane absolutely deserved what Cliff said to her. I get that her past was and is very, very traumatic, I do. That doesn't mean she should get a pass every time she's being a bitch and shouldn't have shots fired back at her.
the first weak episode. Guess it's a matter of taste.
I love it when this show goes full circle and shows you how things were planned out since the beginning. So fantastic.
