I loved Joaquin Phoenix's performance it was a real 10/10 great balance between creepy and campy I also loved the scenes on the train with the 3 guys bullying him (and the woman) and him killing them and the excruciating stand up gig, him being ridiculed on television and eventually murdering Murr-ayy on air. However, overall I felt that it dragged in places it didn't need to, this probably sounds weird but I feel like it would've benefited from more violence? I thought it was a bit weaksauce for the hype lol
S1 & S2 were masterpieces this season is also very good but there were more boring scenes particularly the Thelma & Nicole scenes. Those scenes felt like they'd been phoned in which is a shame because that could have potentially been good, perhaps the problem being that neither became especially related to the main plot after Joe's death and Smith blackmailing Thelma out of the way after that the characters probably should have been written out or had less scenes. The Kido and the hostess relationship would have been more interesting to watch develop but ah well.
I loved TFA, I liked TLJ, this though... I did feel bad rating it so low because I loved the usage of the score and the water/high wave fight scene was badass but it was bad it's like they didn't care at all
Also what did John Boyega do to deserve this? I feel like they must have hated him on some level to treat his character like some whining kdrama 3rd wheel nice guy who didn't get the decency of a sad "I'm all alone feeling sad :(" scene these characters usually get in kdramas, why couldn't he have at least got to be with Rose Tico if not Rey smh could've taken a minute what a lame end to an originally interesting character
So far has similar vibes to Netflix's Dark which is an all time fave for me I hope it keeps that up
Yeah, it's predictable but it's fun
the rarest of rare... a decent lesbian movie
I can't believe the pizza died man that's brutal
This movie balances the interesting subject matter (modern day racism) and diverse character development really well imo I didn't expect to like it as much as I did I would recommend it to people
Don't think I'll be watching season 2 of this
I wish I could rate it a 10 (I did at first) but S3 brought it down a bit S4 was a bit better although the BCR were a strange addition I understand they wanted to reference racism against black people but I feel like that could've been better. Anyway I still would consider this one of my absolute favourite tv programs it's beautifully filmed, the acting especially from the actor playing John Smith was great and the score(s) were next level. Watching the show was a great experience despite it's (few) flaws.
Don't think I've ever seen a film so good and so stupid at the same time like this, I enjoyed it tho
the avengers but it's old guys with guns
Mostly boring, shoot out at the end was good though
erykah badu was fun in this could've benefited from more jokes or at least more that don't fall flat
I didn't have any expectations for this but it was surprisingly sweet, it reminded me of the kind of comedy films that were more common in the 90's
It's gripping I don't know why people don't talk about this more I was expecting something tacky other than the fake nose it wasn't that
In my opinion Alan Partridge can be a bit hit and miss but this film was brilliant, I loved everything about it
It's true that in some ways it's dated but it's pretty interesting and philosophical
this show is a masterpiece
This movie made me laugh so hard truly one of the funniest movies I've seen in ages I think they should make a sequel
I loved this movie it was so funny and touching
really fun movie would recommend to friends
Song Cha Ok is a great character
this wasn't as good as the other episodes honestly
