I loved the anime so much, so I hope I'll like this live action adaption too!
I thought, WOW there's no way Reese Witherspoon can play a 40-year-old (at least, she doesn't look it, haha!), but she was amazing. And George was so sweet <3
That Kirino though... some people just need a high five... in the face, with a chair.
I saw the trailer a bunch of times when going to the theater, and never thought I'd even like it, which is why I took me quite some time to finally go and see and. Boy, what was I wrong. The movie was great, and I had many laughs!
Gosh, Murphy's Law! Everything that can go wrong, will go wrong!
I liked the "conversation" between Gilcrest and Woody at the end!
For me, this didn't beat the original, but I did love me some Groot <3 And again, outstanding music!
Saw it at the Sneak Preview Night, and it was hilarious! Totally recommend it to both female and male alike. Whether you've seen the original show or not. I hadn't, but people seated next to me had, and they enjoyed it just as much.
What a beautiful short anime movie! Definitely worth to watch.
Wow! This was so screwed up! When the cop planted that evidence, I really thought he was the bad guy.
When Georges (Robert Pattinson) walked out of that church at the end, I thought his skin was gonna sparkle as diamonds like in Twilight, haha!
All in all, entertaining movie, especially since I love such period/costume dramas.
Gave it a shot, but it failed to entertain me. One of the first - or first anime series I dropped after a few episodes (or in this case, just one).
I think this was the only short of the Holland Animation Film Festival opening night with a real narrative/storyline, and after looking up some information on the internet, I found out there will be a sequel titled "Mirror Lake". I can't wait for it and find out what's gonna happen.
I liked this short. It was a bit longer than the rest of the program and looked very pretty. The little bird was adorable.
I saw this three short three (!) times during the Holland Animation Film Festival. I thought it was very, very well done. I'm amazed that people are actually skilled enough to create something like this.
Last movie of the Holland Animation Film Festival opening night. For me, it was a bit too flashy/in your face. I thought; "Oh god, what if someone in the audience has epilepsy?" The short was just a little bit too long for comfort, and the alternating black/white and negative frames got annoying pretty fast because of the flashes. Even when closing my eyes.
Saw it at opening night of the Holland Animation Film Festival. I liked it, it looked like the scribbles/drawings in the sidelines of someones Math homework came to life!
I saw this on Netflix yesterday while preparing some delicious lasagna. She's funny, I like her. I seem to like female comedians over male ones anyway. (Ali Wong, Iliza Shlesinger etc)
It's fun, just don't watch the trailer, it spoils all the fun scenes!
I was kind of thinking it would turn out to be all a dream after that moment with the windmill, when Victor screamed for Sparky who was still inside, that he'd lost his dog again and that he'd wake up and everything that happened after his dog died was just him dreaming, that he'd never tried to bring Sparky back to life.
Little note, far as I know Frankenweenie was only distributed by the Disney studio, not produced by them.
So like, every show out there has happy ending but here Bols just won't die :@:@:@:@:@:@:@:@:@
I noticed this movie was leaving Netflix NL soon, and since it is in the top 20 on IMDb, I thought it must be great.
But I quit it after 36 minutes..... I do like con/heist movies and such (The Italian Job, Focus, Ocean's Eleven etc), so I thought, this must be right up my alley... but meh :( Hugely disappointed. It just seemed to go too slow-paced for my taste.
What an amazing, adorable movie. I loved the switching between Juli and Bryce as narrator, and seeing it all from their point of view.
Such a shame it didn't get a theatrical release in the Netherlands, or in much countries at all....
I agree with @DRNKMNKY's comment. It seemed like one big soft glow/blur effect. The fighting scenes also seemed a bit unbelievable, like even with the enhanced skills o.o Killing a hundred people with one blow?!?
That cleaner is so odd o,o I thought for sure he had something to do with those terrorists!
Wow! So strange to see all those electricity-recuiring-stuff in this episode!
It's a pretty long movie, but there's never a dull moment!
I think Rachel gave Monroe a fake lethal injection, that only stopped his heart for just long enough. Like in the Insurgent book! Why else would she be digging up his grave... ;_;
Maybe she wants to kill him again herself, haha.
Nearly not as nice as the first movie. I quit it after about 50 minutes
What WAS that inside Danny o.o
