VIPHow do you add a list from? Imdb I can’t seem to get it to work.

@big-dog-productions If there are tools, I'm not aware of them. I update these manually.

I know I've already commented but just a big thanks for keeping this list updated. It really is my only go to way of finding new true crime shows on a regular basis.
loading replies
@mrfuse I really appreciate it! I make all of these lists for my own personal use, so it definitely makes me happy to know that others can get some use out of them too!
Newbury here, just wondered if there's any way to "copy" this list to myy trakt or imdb databases, as opposed to finding the show n adding it manually lol :see_no_evil::rofl::rofl::rofl:
loading replies
@15123073 I'm not sure what it is you're trying to do exactly, but Trakt does have a feature to clone an existing list from another user. There should be a "Copy" button towards the top of the list. You will have ownership of the clone and can make edits to it. I'm not sure if that is what you are trying to do or not.
I enjoyed the list, but how would I do 2023 documentaries
loading replies
@mina-the-big-dog I'll add 2023 docs as they come out. I only update the list once a week, typically, so they won't necessarily be added immediately, but they'll make their way here eventually.
Thanks for putting this list together. Was looking for this to put a collection together.

@techmattr2 No problem! I'm glad it's useful!
Hi, just wanted to say thank you for all the lists. In the comment, you said, that you pulled it from PTP's collection. I'm also looking to transfer over some collections from PTP > lists automatically. Can you offer guidance as to how you did it? Thank you!
loading replies
@exdominatus I think you messaged me on PTP, but just in case this is coming from a different user, I built this list manually. Unfortunately, I don't have the coding knowledge to automate list creation (or the knowledge of any existing tools). Sorry!
Great list, thanks for all the hard work!
I noticed that there is a show slipped in here - Westworld Season 3 on the most recent update, I don't know if that's intentional?

@dinkysniff I just checked for it and it looks like it's in there. Let me know if you still don't see it.

@mbulgueroni I could not agree more. I loved the suspense they built up in the first half of the episode but as soon as the battle started, all logic in the writing flew out the door. It was so distracting. I literally had every thought that you posted here while watching the episode. I'm surprised it's being so well received. There were so many GLARING continuity issues especially with the characters getting surrounded, cut to another character, cut back to the surrounded character, oh look they cut a safe path for themselves. So effing stupid! If you're going to have every significant character accomplish the impossible, you can't just exclude the "How". This played like a Marvel movie to me, where there was no stakes and logic was just disregarded in lieu of nonsensical Hollywood moments. I couldn't rate the episode a 1, because I thoroughly enjoyed the build-up to the battle, but the battle itself was so, so disappointing. I was heated by the end of the episode, and that's never happened to me with GOT before. I hope we can just kind of forget this episode and finish off strong.
Many items added does not have a Blu-Ray 4K release. why are they in this list? E.g. A Star is Born
loading replies
@earl-grey This list is simply mirroring the list of 4K Blu Rays indexed on blu-ray. com. Note the URL in the list description. The inclusion of a title on blu-ray.com does not indicate that a 4K Blu Ray has already been released, but only that it has been announced. The only criteria for it being included on this list, is that it's listed on the URL in the description.
Awesome list, thanks for updating it regularly!

@rxp91 No problem man! Glad that it's useful!
I enjoyed this, I heard about it on the Doug Loves Movies podcast where a guest said to watch it but don't look up anything about it and I think that does make the experience better.
For those that have seen it, is it really based on true events?
loading replies
@philrivers Doug Love Movies also brought this to my attention. It was enjoyable. I’m also curious about your question.
Decided to give this a try since a lot of people were calling it 'too gruesome to watch' and I got curious. It's honestly not tho. I really liked it, but if you're expecting some dark horror stuff like I did, this will dissapoint. I did however really like the plot and I definitely will continue watching this!
loading replies
@pawsupgagalove I watched it for the same reason. I did not see how it was "too gruesome to watch" at all, but it was an interesting premise. I will keep watching.
One of the best shows around. Great acting, good story lines, ... A pity nobody was watching it.

@larcenet That is a bummer, but I can't say I didn't expect to happen sooner or later. Thanks for letting me know!

@larcenet I completely agree. I haven't seen the ratings, but nobody I know watches it. Every season, I'm afraid it's going to get cancelled. Crossing my fingers we get another one.
I watched this for How Did This Get Made. I remember seeing this in theaters and not loving it as much as I wanted to...and that was basically the reaction I had today.
Kristy Swanson is great and gorgeous and charismatic and deserves to still be part of the pop culture landscape today. I know she still works, but you know what I mean. She needs to be forefront.
Billy Zane...you gotta love this guy. I will say as a kid I was shocked when Billy Zane shaved his head. "What about all that hair he had in Titanic and The Phantom?" I'd say. Oh to be so young and unwise again...he's obviously rocking a wig in this. It's weird how aware you become of the follicly challenged once you are near risk of becoming a member yourself. It's like when you buy a new car and all of a sudden you see all the other cars like yours on the road.
Anyway, purple in the jungle doesn't make too much sense. I don't think I'd fall for that microscope trick. James Remar was in this too so I can't outright hate it. But a mild disappointment.

@kurtmoney I also watched this for How Did This Get Made. I found it painfully boring. I think I liked The Shadow more. This one was tedious.
as a movie it's technically inept and poorly edited but a devastating story nonetheless

I agree with you 100%. I was taken out of the story on more than one occasion because the narrative and editing were sloppy and it definitely felt rushed at times. That said, it really is a captivating story and one absolutely worth telling.
