Tom Hardy, a good actor, always puts on a good show and definitely the right casting choice because It works well. I thought the movie was decent with a good plot easy to follow and some good effects with plenty of action but with a slow start and didn't expect It to be full of humour. My only downer was that It was a little rushed, also I feel It would of been so much better If It was (R) rated.
Both films are fantastic but second definitely scores higher than the first with more action, better camera work and affects were so much better and definitely was more noisier than the first and loved the ending and hoping it doesn’t end there because I’d love a 3rd movie, back story on the aliens would be nice but wouldn’t mind if they still keep it quiet..
So, is Hubie Halloween a trick or a treat? Surprisingly, it's the latter! I had a fun time watching this, despite the poor critical response. It's not the greatest comedy in the world, but when you put it alongside Sandler's other Netflix 'comedies,' this is a near classic!
It was amazing to watch David Attenborough share his powerful, knowledgeable, inspiring message, the truth, and the reality to the world on the big screen for first time tonight and it was a great experience and his message was deep, emotional and beautiful at the same time.
We really can make a difference today if we listen, see, believe and make the effort to do so.
I disagree with many of the comments on this page. Sure, the film is slow paced, but what did people expect? Car chases, the next Trainspotting? It's a very well made film, being at once an unsensationalistic look at how drugs can ruin a man's life (and that of his family), and the loving relationship between a father and his son. The film resonated with me on a personal level too, and brought back memories of the young people I knew who are no longer here thanks to the evil (and I mean that word in a very real sense) of drugs.
Oh, and the performances were stellar. Watch it, and then make a special effort to love the people closest to you.
Superb. This was exceptional. Peter Jackson and his team painstakingly took 100 year old archive footage and somehow rendered it into HD. An absolute triumph. Very emotional to hear what the soldiers were going through. Should be compulsory viewing in schools or something. 9/10
The first half is definitely better than the second, but it's still a cut above many cookie cutter chillers out there. Will give you the incentive to mow your lawn too.
The greatest film in the world! Sorry, that's a lie. Truth is, it might be the most frustrating film in the world. See it for yourself and you'll know what I mean.
Difficult to get into at first - there's barely any hand holding in this brave new world (even if it is just London on wheels) - but once the story developed and a little history was learned, I started to enjoy it more. Visually fantastic, although a little too much CGI at times, this is worth a watch, especially for Londoners who most certainly haven't seen their home city depicted like this before!
Genuinely good! And considering the limited technology used, this was very unnerving. I haven't seen a good horror movie in a long time, but this changed that. I shall not be using Zoom in the near future!
Well I wasn’t disappointed with this spin off and knowing his work for deadpool 2 amazed me I didn’t have any doubts and it didn’t let me down because it was a decent film with some high grade action with a good cast also loved the jokes and references. Definitely a lot of fun and It was better than most Fast & furious. I’ve got to say, the rock and statham make a good team and I wouldn’t say no for another movie.
Finally got around to watching this remarkable, deep, powerful, beautiful and heartwarming picture with a great sound track from Ghibli Studio.
Hey, you guys! this film never gets old, good 80's classic with an awesome adventure, a great young cast, full of humour and gets better every time. I hear there's a upcoming follow on coming by the same director that I don't think they should make and leave it with the one film.. Goonies never say die!
Growing up is difficult enough, but when your classmates start exploding around you? Well, it's just mind blowingly awful. The film, on the other hand, is great. A simple romantic tale told in a way that Cronenberg would be proud of.
Fun fact: the film was originally going to be called 23 Bridges, but Jeff and Beau pulled out last minute. Real fact: the film is awfully generic; a shame, as the cast is amazing.
Obviously not one of his best and don’t see him surpassing his retro movies, it was entertaining thought and did make me laugh a few times but too much on the cheesy vibe.
I love how happy madison has it’s own universe and brings it’s connections, characters, similar cast, references, quotes to mostly all adam’s movies and that’s what made it for me in this film, like Ben Stiller with his role from happy gilmore.
I loved all the movie references like The Warriors if you caught that one..
The best thing by far in this film was his handy tool, i need that in my life :joy:
Once in every lifetime comes a horror movie so good, and so original, that you will be shuddering in your boots for months. This movie isn't it.
A remarkable film with a simple but thoughtful message about change in everyday life. When the townspeople open their eyes to colour, the change within themselves soon begins to show on the outside. Colour and expression is contagious!
The humour, romance, drama is all here and is played by a great cast that is funny and engaging. So many memorable scenes that you won’t forget. A must watch film.
Well, that was one very dysfunctional birthday party. The acting helps to make it watchable but it’s not worth a re-watch anytime soon.
Asians make some decent horrors and this infected film was good and a lot of entertaining action.
This is one red hot cheesy medley of 80’s daftness. But I loved every minute of it.
It was a fun movie, with some great monsters, and a cast to fall in love with. It could have been longer - the more time spent in this world the better - but despite this slight quibble, you're sure to have a good time with this. After all, any film that has a giant crab in it has to be worth a watch, right?
Tim Curry is electric in this very silly but fun flick.
Fantastic! it played out great with a super cast, specially millie brown with a sound performance, definitely going big in her career and very entertaining and lots of good humour.
It's a jungle out there, literally, for Radcliffe in one of his finest performances to date. An intense drama, and while it doesn't convey every nightmarish experience Yossi endured from the true story, there is still enough here to make one stay at home during their summer vacation.
I like Kodi Smit McPhee but this film is a letdown for the talented actor. It looks quite good at times, but the story is a jumble and the whole thing is a bit pointless.
Other than the bad ratings and even Netflix turning it down even thought they’ve got worse on there.. I went into it with an open mind and to be fair it had It’s cheesy bad moments at times and some bad scripting but also had some good moments that did make me laugh but also if it wasn’t for the surprising good cast it had this movie wouldn’t of solved the case for me. It definitely wasn’t worth the cinema trip and money so glad I had a free ticket ha
Compelling documentary; sad and revealing. It presents a fairly balanced view of her life (and untimely death) and doesn't sensationalise her various misfortunes. Worth a look for fans and non-fans alike.
Horrifying in its reenactment of the terrorist attacks in Norway, and gripping within the telling of the political, familial, and legal aftermath of the events, this is another enthralling up close and personal look at the inhumanity of man from Greengrass. Watch it, cry a little, and then let it spur you into making your life count for the better.
Second time around and still a inspiring film based on a true story and always plays with my emotions.
