Once again my comment was removed, I guess I struck a nerve in mods, and all I have done was to tell the truth

@dbmen I think this is the 3rd time I saw your comment here (and I was wondering why your comment keeps appearing on new). You're using derogatory word to describe LGBT people, of course your comment is going to be removed
Once again, nothing really happens, the story never seems to progress.

Why do you watch the show then? Loads of things happened in it did we watch the same episode?

Try paying more attention. There were several major plot advancements...
Is it just me or is there something extremely satisfying about that annoying ass director getting slapped continuously?

@temmyenjoyer it's not supposed to be a good example... Homelander is teaching Ryan to solve problems with violence.
I think one of the worst episodes so far. Many dialogues are boring and bad. Questionable / lazy decisionmaking. Vic is helpless on the Farm? Kimiko too, all are? Thank god we got Indestructible barns! and windows! Some scenes felt very lazy. Not all was bad of course. A-trains and Ashleys plot seems interesting but short. Hugh's (Dad) acting was very nice. Homelanders development seems interesting. Most of the hospital scenes are realy good. Hugh / Dad on V very confused, lost and with amnesia. (Very well acted btw.) But a little 2 mins talk will convince him to just accept death and die. WHAT?!

i think you have to remember what he told hughie in the beginning - he didn't want to be like jar jar. all the anger and confusion and distress was illness, and the acceptance was the lucidity. i don't think it was an unsurprising response time tbh
I dont get why Vic couldn’t handle the v‘d up animals? Isn’t she that ultimate weapon that could’ve just popped their heads?
(I might’ve forgotten something from the earlier seasons)loading replies
I reckon she'd have to be extremely quick and oriented for a head-pop and I doubt she had many opportunities to practice on fast-moving targets. Plus I should think it's exhausting, so it's not like you could do it in a quick succession for long, even if you are more skilled. Aaaand since she is not that skilled in it, she might accidentally kill others (like when Kimiko was fighting off the chicken, my thought process was that it would be hard to aim at the right "person")
What a waste of time.

@xtremebrah Yes, you are a waste of time
Best episode so far this season and a great lead up to the finale in my opinion. I had some trouble picking this show back up and I even hesitated to stop watching after a few episodes. Glad I didn't.

@gusanito1886 I had the same struggle. Didn't feel any urge to start season 2 and then I struggled with continuing to watch due to the first episodes. All the side stories felt so random and uninteresting. Seems like the show was really struggling to figure out what they want to do, but it seems like they are beginning to find their voice and cutting out all the nonsense side stories from the show now.
@koozzy Did you start watching The Boys show from Season 4? Cz it has been like this since Season 1. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
@koozzy Are you stupid or are your parents cousins
This is when I stopped watching this TV Show. It was a good super hero serie with great story and dialogues and then they turned it into a gay and woke propaganda serie. Nothing makes sense and the story is just there to do woke propaganda . Too bad

@brianflanagan Aw... show us where the "woke" hurt ya?
So you're telling me that the smartest person in the world just banger The Deep??

She seemed to be pretty brainless in general in that scene, i think the bloody scissors on the table shows she lobotomised herself which would explain it
@ce8e165f-cde3-42e6-b65a-8a86e6ef113b Don't let the door hit you on your way out.
Damn, this was a great fucking episode; dunno why everyone's bitching about it. Actually, I do, because when shows like this aren't 60 straight minutes of surface level humor and violence, they get all bitchy. And, naturally, since they can't binge the entire season in one go, they think there's no overall plot because their brains are so wired to instant gratification that anything that doesn't satisfy that, "sucks".
loading replies
That's a big part of it, but also the MAGA morons are finally realizing the show has been making fun of them from the start. They're grasping at straws trying to come up with something "legitimate" to complain about, which is a speciality of theirs.
As if no show in history has ever introduced new subplots for each new season.
So we are supposed to believe that three people got their brains bashed in with baseball bats in front of 100s of people and no one saw it??? Okay. Also didn’t black noir completely take one dudes head off? How do you explain that normal folk gonna do that to someone?

Did you miss the scene where they were killed in private and a-train ran the bodies there
This used to be one of my favorite shows, and I'm terribly disappointed at how easily they managed to ruin it... What happened, did Netflix or Disney buy it!?
How did the series suddenly become so 'woke' after the 4th season!?Firstly, the new addition to the Homelander team turned out to be Afro-American girl, of course...
Secondly, how on earth did Frenchie turn out to be gay? For the first three seasons, he was portrayed as super macho, protecting Kimiko fiercely and showing interest in her, and then they completely reversed his character...What on earth is happening to TV shows and movies at general these days? There isn't a single decent series left that stands for something without being filled with Afro-Americans and members of the LGBT community...

Oh no. A TV show filled with people who exist, how terrible.

Gotta love how the geriatric community still use the word "woke"

@pr07o7yp3 Just say you're racist and hate gay people bro.
This is the most out of touch with reality political nut job show out there. Did they source the most unhinged reddit subreddits for material? Why is everyone gay?

I'm surprised the MAGA cult hasn't been filtered out yet. Did you not comprehend the previous three seasons? Are you still rooting for Homelander and thinking he's the good guy in this story :joy:

@xaliber I'm pretty sure they mentioned or hinted at Frenchie being bi in season 1. Regardless, it's a pointless relationship drama.
I'm pretty sure Ashley's comment was setup for the joke that came after. In the same breath she calls him "chauvinist prick" and in the next second she calls female hero "slutty cum rag".

People complaining about Frenchie "suddenly being gay" have clearly never met a gay person before.

@ABSTRACTlegend I understand that. It definitely was unexpected and they could've done better with the whole Colin thing

It’s pretty hilarious to see people all weak at the knees because Frenchie is “suddenly gay”. That bro has been displaying bisexual tendencies since season one. He admitted to “turning tricks” to make ends meet, and told MM to be “open minded” when love sausage wrapped his piece around him at Herogasm.
But it does suck that his relationship with Kimiko is seemingly on the outs. It’s been building up for a while so hopefully that’s just a curveball being thrown by the writers. I’ve always loved their dynamic.

The people screeching about Frenchie probably also still think Homelander is the good guy :joy:
I love that there are still MAGA cult morons in the comments screeching about the show going "woke".
They've been mask-off openly mocking you for two seasons now. Surely it can't all be going over your head...right? Right...?

@xaliber Little buddy out here starting arguments with everyone tonight.
Stormfront was the writers' way of spelling it out for the less observant folks who somehow missed all the obvious references in the previous episodes.
Wake up, my guy. They've been making fun of you since Season 1 Episode 1.
What is this? It feels like I'm watching something else entirely? An hour wasted totally. And that Frenchie Colin c**p? WTF? Where did that come from? And for what exactly? That adds nothing to the story and just destroys the Kimiko storyline they've been building for the past 3 seasons. Why?
loading replies
@bassoo7 The Frenchie-Kimiko storyline was a redemption arc for Frenchie.
From the start, he was clingy and infantilizing her. Kimiko pointed this out several times. Frenchie finally got it, and he changed. Kimiko forgives him. The end. The arc is complete.
This doesn't mean that he "deserves" her now, like some kind of entitlement.
If that's how you view women and relationships, then you need some therapy.

@gpenn1222 I'm pretty sure they revealed he's bi in season 1 or 2.
How can people vote this an average of 55 ish while Mr. & Mrs. Smith is 75?
loading replies
@stephanotter Troll votes given before the actual episode is out. Don't pay attention to them.
Would be an ok episode were it not for:
- A musical scene
- Seth Rogen
- tired BLM and Antifa references
- Seth Green nude jacking off
- people not communicating to further the episodes

@mansemat it continues to amaze me that Americans think being anti-fascist is a bad thing...
A-train is such a little fucking bitch. Just when you think he’s actually gonna do something good, He sweeps the rug out and converts back to bitch status. He’s worse than the deep
loading replies
@abstractlegend That's what I appreciate about this show. The characters have consistency, along with growth.
Remember, A-Train is a completely unrepentant serial murderer, and an all around narcissistic, disingenuous prick, while Deep is a clueless, completely un-self aware douche bag. He's a selfish asshole because he's clueless, but he's not vicious and completely uncaring like A-Train.
