This is pretty much where the series should have ended. In my opinion N vs Light is not as fun as L vs Light . This is my 5th time watching the series but I think I'll stop here this time. :)
Can't speak for the acting since I watched the Japanese dub, but according to other comments there's apparently bad acting. This movie is entertaining, but predictable and forgettable. It also opens itself up for a sequel, which I wouldn't mind checking out if it ever comes out.
Unfortunately the story didn’t “grab me”….it was an interesting concept and entertaining to watch, but I feel like the execution could have been better…great animation though
I started watching this without realizing there was a 2 in the name…so I still need to watch the first one…but honestly I did not feel lost at all…there was only a part where I feel like they referenced the first movie and they showed a flashback of what happened why was nice.
Overall a really fun and entertaining movie and would recommend it to anyone
This is by far my favorite anime....I have already watched it 4 times and I don't usually repeat anime. However, this is the first time I watch the first episode since I learned Japanese and it definitely hits differently (in the best way possible).
Not a bad show, but I do feel like it could have been better animated. However, the more the show progresses, the better the animation gets...still not perfect. Original story too, unrelated to the games which is always nice.

Definitely an unexpected episode lol
This episode is the second best episode so far (after episode 1). I almost cried with Akane, specially after I kept stopping the video so I could read literally every single message they showed about what people were saying about her. Even when she tried apologizing and it made it 10 times worse. That kind of stress can really drive people insane...as shown by her jumping off in the last 2 minutes of the episode. Too bad that when people in real life attempt what she attempted, there is usually nobody there to stop you...too emotional of an episode, amazing job
I loved this movie. Though the story is a bit predictable, specially towards the end, it is still really enjoyable. I just discovered this movie by chance while browsing new things to watch…I fell out of the first game because I didn’t like it as much but after seeing this movie I think I’ll give the game another chance
First episode of season 1 has a completely different vibe from the rest of the series as it’s a prequel. So far it is a really good show and completely not what I was expecting.
Also, skipping the intro should be a crime as yoasobi’s intro song アイドル (idol) is awesome…but then again, I don’t really skip any intro that has a song by Yoasobi, Lisa or 鈴木このみ (Suzuki konomi)
I mean, I enjoyed it….though it was completely different from the first episode…the first episode got me really hyped and this one was just mid…it was ok….midly entertaining….but definitely hope it gets better
Speechless….wow…I came into the series expecting more of a happier tone….but this first episode surpassed all my expectations. I kept putting it off because I thought it was going to be meh….but this “prologue” episode was just too good. I have no words that could possibly describe the master piece I just watched. 100% recommend it to anyone. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
Never really expected the story to go the way it did. This was an enjoyable movie from beginning to end.
I was watching this entire episode with my mouth open in disbelief at how amazing the animation is (as is expected from kimetsunoyaiba), specially when the entire mansion with ubuyashiki and his family blows up, when all the hashira and tanjiro attack muzan and when all the kimetsutai get dragged in. What a crazy cliffhanger!
By the end of the season, everything stays the same.....No real character progression or new characters that may stick around (maybe a couple will, but the way in which it ended it's hard to imagine) but unlike others, I don't believe that necessarily makes this a bad season. More than fighting or dungeons, this season is mostly about the conflicts between monsters and humans and trying to find a way for monsters and humans to coexist in peace. Also all the problems that causes Bell, his kami and the entire familia with the other familias.
I really didn't expect Hermes to do what he did in the last episode....feels a bit out of character....and in the end acting like nothing ever happened showing up in the front door.
As a kid, this was my introduction to anything X-men and felt like I understood nothing. As an adult, when I have already watched all movies and read some comics and watch a few cartoons, it feels like some things still don’t make a whole lot of sense. Still not a bad movie though :)
Loved watching the story from a different point of view. Beautifully animated, specially the second half of the last fight. I do think Haruka san was much better in this one than the sequel
I accidentally watched this one before the first one, but since I already watched all the anime series I wasn't lost here. Felt like a side story but in a good way in my opinion. Asuna gets center stage and you get to see just a bit more of the character. I Definitely love how the last fight was animated.
The only down side to the movie in my opinion was (ironically) Asuna's voice Actress. I like Haruka san, but now that she gets more of a center role I felt like sometimes she didn't know how to properly act...she was fine most of the time...but sometimes it just felt like she was just reading lines onto a mic...
lol most comments crying over the fact that it’s a JDrama when it’s listed as one of the genres…smh… I actually enjoyed this movie….not gonna lie though, it definitely blurred the lines between a normal movie and porn…but at it’s core it’s just a movie about obsessive feelings between 2 individuals and the kinds of things that happen as a result
These kinds of episodes put a literal smile on my face
I struggled to find the will to want to finish it....finally did, though it took me a couple of months to finish. Not the worse, but there are definitely better out there.
Although CGI is garbage, it was still entertaining enough for me to watch it through to the end. Only reason it gets a 5 from me is because it made me want to rewatch the original series, which I may do after finishing the live action trilogy....hopefully the movies get better
Came into it blind as I watched no trailers prior. Was surprised to see such an interesting story and unique concept. Also the main character, miyo/muge, has such a fun, quirky personality it took some getting used to. Thought the movie was well paced. I wouldn’t watch it again, but definitely unique enough to deserve to be watched at least once.
Also, after the credits start rolling they start closing plot holes…which I personally thought was nice as I hate when movies leave a lot of things up to interpretation.
As someone who is not caught up with the manga, I like the premise of this arc...though this could have been condensed into a normal 23 min episode
I've never watched a Gandam show before and only decided to try it out because of the intro song by Yoasobi, 祝福 (blessing, wishing someone good luck) which I really love and made me look up the anime in which it gets played (since it sounded like a song that would be perfect for anime intro and yoasobi has multiple songs in anime intro). Because of this I never really skip the intro lol
but on to the show itself... it is not horrible, but it's not great either. I personally don't love talking about politics and the relationships between multiple companies and branches etc...and that is what this anime is about at its core. I usually like to turn off my brain mostly when watching anime and don't like to have to think too much about political drama, even in a fictional show....but hey, it made me want to play mech type game :) (though every mech game I have played so far usually has politics involved so....I may just mute the story lol)
I will say the prologue episode really caught my attention and made me start season 1...especially the way it ended....sadly I can't say the rest of the show holds up in my opinion. I do like the animation though there are definitely better animated shows out there. Overall not my cup of tea, but I think I may stick around to finish season 2 since I don't like leaving shows unfinished unless I truly dislike them.
Really great movie. I'd watch it again if I didn't have a huge backlog of things to watch
