Being a member of what they call "firm" ( the biggest from my country ) find this movie good but a little bit of the track because there a majority that its not talked in the movie; the ones that don´t care about fights, or ground, or rep...they just care to support the loved club every weekend in every way possible without even care about other..."firms".
How did this show get on the air? It's beyond horrible.
#HungerGames is like a mockery of today's reality shows or the whole showbizness for that matter. Totally lived up to VERY HIGH EXPECTATIONS! ❤
I'm baffled by this movie, it seems to me that 1 person wrote the script for the whole movie except the final 10-15 min because the movie was quite enjoyable until those last few scenes where it just fucks up the whole idea.
Boring film with idiotic plot, i guess they i trying to milk every $ from this should-end-long-time-age crappy franchise. Very lame
Dollhouse is an intriguing, messed up, quirky, thought-provoking, series that's full of twists, mind benders, and a lot of creepy storylines. Yet it's funny and light-hearted most times. I did not really "enjoy" watching Dollhouse, but I was so fascinated and so taken by it that I had to watch it all. And I loved it, in an awkward way.
Modern Family does what's best in comedy: subtle awkward situations that make you laugh uncontrollably, even though if someone sees the same scene as you, they will never get why and how it's funny. You can't judge Modern Family based on some episodes seen sporadically, no, you'll have to go from the start and watch all of it, for the comedy to become apparent to you.
One of the best movie car chases of all time.
It was like watch E.T and The Goonies at the same time, but with the knowledge we have nowadays.
I really enjoyed it and Michael Giachinno was wonderful as always.
J.J Abrams abusing of lens flare, as expected, but it wasn't a bad thing most of the time.
A few good jokes, the rest is just dull stuff - not Sacha Baron Cohen's best work (IMO).
I can't very well explain how I feel about this show. When I started watching it, I loved the premise of the show: the planet is destroyed and all that's left of our race is 1 spaceship and 50.000 people. I didn't like the characters very much (I even disliked the way some actors played their role) and didn't think much of the special effects.
But in some way, this show has gripped me like very few shows have before. The combination of the premise, the unfolding story, the incredible dilemmas the survivors must face, the focus on politics/religion/science/social development rather than action and battles, even the musical score was perfect to drag me further into the show. I even started to care for the characters.
After watching all seasons I'm left a little unsatisfied with the ending (as I always am with any show), but the way this show could transport me into another world, might make this one of the very few shows I could watch a second time.
I read somewhere that Arnold Schwarzenegger is up for a new "Conan".
How exactly is that going to work??? (o_O)
This show is a GEM. It's so funny! If you haven't seen it you should give it a try.
I guess my expectations were way off... the movie was not very focused and even went full fantasy land for the second half. I also failed to see where to R100 would come into play as it really wasn't that raunchy. His weird 'pleasure' face and the meta humor didn't help either.
amazing =) For a while I was brough back to the past... The Goonies comes to mind, E.T to.. even Stand By me!
I loved this documentary. They could have delved deeper in to the seedy lack of accountability shown by the record labels I feel.
Another movie about Wall Street. Good plot and good story development, lacks a bit of more concrete information but passes the clear message that in the markets the small investors always loose in troubled times. Nice to see.
Good. The ending was a bit of a letdown.
Good show
Tried so hard to be smart but fell flat. Great looking movie though.
Was quite good, but got very... American as the first episode went on. Alcatraz, Hopefully lasts, unlike much of J.J. Abrams similar work (Alcatraz, Undercovers)
That's my point: Two Oscar winners.
OK, straight-to-dvd movies aren't necessarily bad, but 98% yeah & in that case I BELIEVE it is.
Why would they do something like that?
It's definitely a down step if you ask me.
One year later, I am still heartbroken that Happy Endings actually did end. What an ominous title that was...
It took me almost the entirety of the first season to start feeling the love for Happy Endings, but I stuck it out and I found that while I was expecting a How I Met Your Mother meets Friends kind of show, Happy Endings was much more and very different in all the right ways.
Although the series builds from Dave & Alex's wedding, all 6 characters are equally hilarious, entertaining, adorkable (yes there's a k there), relatable and whimsical. I couldn't pick one strong character in this cast, neither could I pick a weak one (although Dave is a bit of an acquired taste). I will never forget Max' genius "hold your horses" or Winnie The Pooh episode, Alex' "I'm not as dumb as I am" and her couch prank or her "I may not know what an Ira Glass is", Brad's Sim-Brad, Penny's falls and head bumps, Jane's ideal salary negotiation, her calm authority and that episode she loses it all at the couples games night, and Dave's so subtle dorky behavior.
But that isn't even half of Happy Endings' strength. Never before has any show assumed the gay/black attributes of its characters so openly, without making that one particular define their whole identity. Happy Endings broke the stereotypes of those characters, and the stereotypical way in which they are usually dealt with in TV/Movies. It didn't dance around the obvious, try to make a political stance, or avoid laughing about it. As with any group of friends, they sometimes joked about Max not being gay enough, or Brad's black origins and the way he speaks, and the jokes were real and tasteful.
There's also the fact that Happy Endings is a physical + spoken + situation comedy at once, a traditional sitcom in that sense, but the spoken aspect was always subdued, full of references, and it made you work for your reward in every joke. I was often too focused on one aspect or character and didn't notice what else was happening simultaneously. I also missed some of the verbal jokes. That's why there is such an added value in re-watching Happy Endings.
I have seen every episode at least 5 times and I STILL find new things to laugh at. That's how much there is going on, and how brilliant the show is. I am grateful that we got 3 seasons of Happy Endings, but I would have loved more, so much and much and much more.
All i can say is , Long Live The Legend ! Great Movie , Great Acting , most of all Great Cast to begin with.
24 will return in early May as tentpole event drama "24: Live Another Day", which will arc through the summer.
Cause I'm a MAN!
I watched up to episode 3 with the fitting name "Wasting Time" - Seriously, all those titles would reflect my opinion if I'd keep on watching :).
The show is just far too generic and doesn't excel at anything. It's saving grace is that most shows had their season finale when this one started. There are better ways to waste your time imho :)!
an action movie for girls :)
I agree with ManiacB:
The first season is fun to watch. Adapted from novels they did a good job to keep the talking heads interesting. This means lots of weird angles, different art styles, live action sequences and usage of colored text cards (appearing for split seconds only). By the time we get to the second season the direction changes for the show. The flashing text cards only appear occasionally and the direction is rather tame. The pace of the arcs slows down and were left with TONS of fanservice (in dialogue and visuals). It is already present in the first season but it's better mixed in so it's bearable. Every female poses like a slut, a loli vampire bathing with the MC and it doesn't stop at his sisters. Much of it also feels like a dating sim: there is hardly any interaction between the girls and they only appear alone in scenes with the MC. It also hurts the supernatural side of the story, there is hardly an tension built up. Thankfully the Nekomonogatari (Black) arc feels more like the first season but is not that exciting because it is a prequel and the events during "Golden Week" already happend once in the first season.
Since SHAFT will probably animate all the "Monogatari" there will be ten or so more to come so I hope they can keep the level of the first or this will be a painful experience.
Bakemonogatari = 8
Nisemonogatari = 5
Nekomonogatari (Black) = 7
