I like the action, and way way more intense than the first one. As good as 'Anarchy', plus Elizabeth Mitchell!
This seemed to start off well but as another person commented; this is an easily forgettable movie. It just ended up being a cat and mouse chase after chase movie with very little story. I just finished watching it an barely remember what it was about.
Passable but ultimately forgettable movie.
Also, not really related to the film but I have to say, Halle Berry is looking great for 58!
Cheap graphics, excessive Sex scenes ( not the type you'd like)... and overall bad acting.
too much talking and not enough fighting , def does not follow the real history.
the idea of the show was great , but poorly executed , lets hope they dont make a season 2.
A very good movie, and Pierre Niney is still excellent
A well-executed thriller thanks to a script that creates expectations, building conspiracy theories that in the final result can be somewhat simplistic, but that are sustained thanks to the pacing and suspense. Pierre Niney crafts another complex character, with the ambiguity between the real and the imaginary, and Philippe Rombi contributes an excellent soundtrack that evolves using classic thriller elements.
Surprisingly good, for an overworked genre. Despite the zombie and the gore, it's not a frightening movie. It's more of a character study of this particular Final Girl.
I love this movie. The actors are brilliant, above all Christian Maria Herbst. It‘s the perfect role for him. And a really feel good film. Perfect for a movie-evening with a cup of a good tea or a delicious red wine….
It is a really thrilling movie. It shows what can happen already and especially how dangerous it is for the future if everything gets more and more controlled digitally.
I really liked this a lot. What a surprise, started watching thinking this would be another dumb survival movie and then my eyes were glued to the screen.
Really enjoyed it, a lot of tense moments and the acting was excellent.
all the men are pathetic and ridiculous and the lesbians run away together. also they're both unapologetically horny. seemed pretty fun to me!
Men getting what they deserve, and a happy ending for the lesbians? Couldn't ask for more.
A well done movie that was fun to watch.
It seemed to have a good story, but it managed to get completely lost.
Meh. Great story but not enough action for my preference. There is a lot of “Personal situations” scenes and non ending dialogue that is unrelated the the main plot. Finding the killer.
Like a part-time cop with the blues, this movie has a lot of down time.
This remake of the every 1980s thriller starts off with a bang -- which is the absolute bare minimum -- and then degenerates into the cliché depressed cop trying to catch the killer (whose motivation for perpetrating the big intro is basically ignored throughout the rest of the movie) despite her inner demons and constant challenges from internal authorities.
There's a tiny bit of action and zero suspense but lots of brooding, if that's what you want in a thriller.
I liked the film, even though logic was often sacrificed for effect. For example: G.H. reaches the beach and discovers a wristwatch sticking out of the sand. He uncovers the watch and discovers an arm. He looks up and sees the body of a pilot belonging to the arm. He continues to look around and sees that there are bodies and debris all over the beach, including huge pieces of debris from the plane. The effect was nice, but of course you would have seen the debris and the bodies immediately, and not discovered the watch first.
At its best when it concentrates on the people together in the house. Less successful when the setting moves away or dialogue turns to exposition.
The stuff with the animals makes zero sense in the context of the film.
I really enjoyed this movie. Good cinematography and special effects. The whole movie has a nice level of tension about it. Bérénice is damn fine and worth watching for.
This movie sat on my watchlist for 5 yrs and I finally got around to giving it a go. Whoda thunk Owen Wilson in a solid high octane thriller? Well acted, but a bit of a thin plot as explained by other reviews. Some folks have an issue w the xenophobia, but are digging in too deep. If you want to watch a family try to survive against rough odds for 95 minutes you could do worse. Just shy of the 7.5 needed to bump me to an 8. 7.4 overall for a better than expected action thriller.
I like Gerard and knew this wasn't going to be great, but was in the mood for a silly little adult thriller. It does the job, and isn't overly long. 5.5 for me but marginally closer to a 5 than a 6. I'd consider a 6/10 a good movie. Many consider 6 a poor score. I do not. This was just shy of that level for what I was looking for.
It was better than I expected, entertaining with good rithm.
This is a good solid action movie. It reminds me of another great film Breakdown 1997 Kurt Russell.
Worth it. Good although not the best. Low budget but still manage to deliver a thrilling plot.
Been there, seen that, but still worth a watch. Not too terribly exciting but sometimes a simple story with a good character actor (Butler) is a good thing.
Just your typical wife goes missing while you gas up the car movie. It's all been done before so there's nothing new really.
Entertaining enough, just don't expect too much and you'll be ok.
7.5/10
Decent action/thriller flick. Better than Liam Neeson’s last one, sort of same category
Far from Hollywood political correctness mix of Underworld, Resident Evil and Mad Max... not as bad as for English production :)
