When your daughter is about the get drowned (especially when you are parents who lost another daughter) you stare each other with love and kiss with love; well, eventually causes your daughter to get drowned...
The plot totally sucks. Trying to connect everything from a comet-meteorite like thing to parallel universes (without having the knowledge at all) like they are other solar systems in the universe...
It makes you watch, so some point for that, but apart from that, bullshit. At least some final reflecting the psychological effect would make it way better than that.
The show is getting better and better with every new episode. Great that it overcome some stupidities that were in the first season!
After reading reviews and shouts here, I thought that I would be way disappointed. It didn't turn out like that.
As everyone stated, the plot is very predictable, so that is the biggest con of the movie. And I should state that one should not rely on a detailed background story. However, despite some people stating that the story was not cleared in the end, I found it sufficient.
In many Sci-Fi movies, you get to know from where the treat comes from, how they are evolved -as in aliens-. The movie found it sufficient to just let people know about the mission of some far civilization, who came to Earth. And in the end, rather than a movie which tells "there was a distant advanced civilization who came to attack us", a movie which tells "you all know that if it is an alien movie, there is a distant advanced civilization, but we just told why they came!" is better.
So in the end, to me it definitely gives its point to the audience. In my opinion, it overall rates 8, but I wanted to spare it one more for a point which the movie surprised me -I said, the plot was predictable- apart from the whole of it.
Watch it, don't expect a milestone and enjoy.
If you are into poetry, this is a movie you should not miss...
Better watch something else!
