So, we finished rewatching the whole run of Peep Show last night. Those hoping for a climactic finale will be sorely disappointed, but I found it fitting; it would have been weirdly saccharine—perhaps even disingenuous—to break the El Dude Brothers’ destructive cycle of pettiness and cruelty with a comforting send-off. The final series wasn’t my favourite, but it still has some great moments.
Now I feel like I want more Mitchell and Webb. When’s the next series of Back?
