I was afraid that they would screw up this show after the first season because the story ended there, but I have to admit that it was pretty good. Palermo is a good and well-introduced character, but the other new ones felt like they're just extras, and that shouldn't be the case since they're all a team. Alicia was by far my favorite character this season, I absolutely loved her and her craziness.I also appreciated that little bit of humor they added to some parts.
I'm excited and looking forward to watch the next part, I'm sure it will be epic!
This one was on my dropped list because I didn't like the first season that much. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. In my opinion, it went downhill on the first season 'cause all of the initial mystery was lost way too fast and the rest of the story was more of a little brain explosion than good.
But now I have to say: I am so glad that I gave this show a second chance! This season was really well done, from the game that apparently had nothing to do with the main characters to all of the different things that happen in a new dimension, varying from person to person.
I will be waiting for the next one!
I really liked the episode, but what was that animation this week? It was so bad that it made me laugh.
Nezuko actually fits in that basket, lol. The whole fight with the demon was pretty much "????? what is happening here?", the demon's head flew so easily that it reminded me of the twilight saga. If it continues like this, this might be a drop...
Only watched 2 episodes until now, but I can't understand all the hype about this anime. Watched each episode in two different days and still almost fell asleep in the middle of it, every time. I mean, how can you not be bored knowing that every episode is literally filler-new hero-new villain-ends the villain with one punch? Even the protagonist is bored!
The comedy is not really my type of humour as well, which contributes to the boredom. I find all the jokes extremely unfunny, but even if you find them funny, let's at least agree that they're all bad jokes...
There are two things I liked: the animation – which is extremely well done – and Genos. I feel like he's a good character and I hope he appears more now since, apparently, Saitama is his sensei. Well, I guess I'll continue watching, hoping it gets better at some point. Maybe I'll update this review once I finish watching it (if I ever do that).
One of the bests of Winter Season 2019! If you're searching for a comedy anime, don't hesitate to watch this, it's hilarious. I really hope this gets a second season. Meanwhile, I think I'm just going to read the manga xP
Nothing special to see here and it was boring, I don't even know if I'll watch the next one since the episodes are so long.
The Promised Neverland, aka The Promised Cliffhanger, ending this episode with a CLIFF-hanger . Ah, the irony!
"Did you just let me rest and carried me all the way up here...? Is that sweat? Ew, get away from me!" Just shut the f*ck up, you brat. Oh my f*cking god, I can't stand her. Sooo annoying!
This anime, so far, is being so well adapted that, maybe, just the fact that it has an amazing soundtrack that suits every single scene, makes me like it even more than the manga.
The show is boring, it has some mystery but it's not worth the time. I feel bad for Thale though, he actually was the only character that I liked and care about, so I would like to know a bit more about him. Oh well, another one for my dropped list.
Kinda disappointed that Milim finished Charybdis with only one attack, I was hoping that she would play a little with him before attacking him hard enough for him to return to his natural form... She was so hyped to fight and it all ended in one second. Anyway, it was a nice episode. Hope they can eat roasted shark in the next one xD
Damn... I don't even know what to say after watching this, what a great episode! We're in the middle of the season and I already want a second one. I'm really excited to see what's coming next. In my opinion, until now, this is the best anime of the winter season.
The story is really good, a little bit confusing in the beginning but as the movie goes on you can easily see how everyone is connected in some way. The story is complex but it does not leave loose ends and is well paced. It also has the most beautiful scenarios and footage that I've ever seen in a movie, and the soundtrack is good and suitable. The only little thing is that the movie is really long, but, in the end, I understand that it is needed because of the complexity of the story.
I know that Alice is just like that because she can't remember growing up with Eugeo and Kirito, so she does not trust them and think that they are criminals, but I really can't stand her and her arrogance. I mean, in the previous episode, she was literally useless the whole time and then just asks "Who do you think I am?" when Kirito warns her about some monster. Even in this one, Kirito was nothing but nice to her and she just keeps being a b*tch all the time.
This was interesting. Let me start by saying that the soundtrack was probably one of the bests I've heard so far and that the main story kept me curious until the very last episode. On the other hand, this anime has a lot of unrealistic stuff, which bothered me. That chess game in the airport was terrible, it even had illegal moves and just didn't make sense at all. None of the bombs ever killed, at least, one person. Five, a supposed foreigner, appeared out of nowhere and just started to be a real terrorist, much worse than Nine or Twelve, under police protection and nothing really happened to her about that. She literally put at risk the population and nobody did anything to stop it! But I think that the worst part of it all was that, in the end, she didn't even want anything from Nine, she just f-cking killed herself in front of him. Five was probably the worst character that I've ever seen, I hated her so much that I was happy when she finally died. I read once, somewhere, a comment from a wise man saying "Five was also the number of episodes she wasted". And then we have Lisa, who is not likeable at all, she does not have a personality and I think that she is easily disposable, they could have done the story without her. Besides that, it was decent, the story and the little details of it were all well explained and the ending was also great.
P.S.: If you're an English speaker you're going to cringe at Five's attempts to speak English ALL THE TIME.
The movement of the animation is kinda weird and the design is nothing special, but that's okay 'cause the anime obviously had a very low budget. It also has some real-life footage, but I actually think it fits the intro and is enjoyable. The overall story is interesting as well, the problem here is that the pace of it is very slow and the characters don't really make sense. It looks like they change personalities and are completely different people in the same episode or between them. The other thing I've noticed is that I don't really know what genre this anime is... At first, I thought it was something like terror or, at least, drama and then on the 3rd episode they try to make it funny (?) but they can't seem to finish the jokes and it ends up being just an awkward thing.
Not an advance in the story but it was good to watch the past of Hyakkimaru and how he's connected to Jukai. Also, the animations are so beautiful and well done! This is easily my favourite anime from Winter Season 2019.
This was a little bit boring for a start, but I guess I'll watch a few more episodes to see if it gets better...
Launching two kids with no training at all into space... Why not? Looks like a very good idea! For what? They really need that data... It's not like Ritsu, through all the anime, can't literally hack anything that exists... except this one! Too bad! And they manage to go to space and come back to earth on the very same day, landing on their school campus, it's fantastic! Oh, and the Space Center does not have security at all and never notices that these kids stole their rocket, so there's that as well xD All of this just to realise at the end that is very likely that Koro-sensei is not going to explode (less than 1%), so technically this could end here. What can I say? I'm just not giving up on this just because I almost finished it, but this season has been terrible.
Okay, so at this point, I just have to say that none of this makes any sense anymore. The fact that they didn't show Nagisa the entire time in the previous episode just ended up proving my easy prediction that he and his team would win. And, to be honest, I just don't understand why Koro-sensei just doesn't let them kill him already if he's going to die anyway. I mean, in the end, he loves his students and doesn't want them to get hurt! I really liked this anime in its first season and I can understand why they did a second one, but I feel like it would be much better if they had made just a longer one instead of two, where the second one has some important scenes and information but it also has a lot of useless and boring stuff.
I really like Kenma, so it was good to watch this episode from his perspective and more of his team when Lev arrives, since he appeared out of nowhere in the beginning of season 2. This anime is wonderful!
Overall this show is a waste of time, and I'm glad it lasted only 25 minutes. The first episode was boring (yes, they managed to make it annoying even for only 9 minutes) and not scary, the second one wasn't even an episode... It is something like an AHS intro without the music. The third one is not scary at all, despite being a little bit more entertaining than the first one. The fourth episode is easily the best one, just a little, tiny, bit scary and I liked that explorer vibe from the two boys. The fifth and last one made me laugh, it is a morning routine like some girls do on youtube but psycho version, 0% scary. Hey, but let's look at the bright side: they nailed it on the title!DON'T WATCH THIS!
The show is not as bad as I thought it would be... I thought this would be a shitty series where Netflix just uses (again) the popularity of some actors from La Casa de Papel, but I found it decent. I didn't think this would have a second season though, it really should be a one season thing. Too bad that my favorite characters were the murderer and his girlfriend. I'll probably end up watching the second season to see how they're going to try to escape. And it's always good to watch a Netflix original, non-american show, for a change.
The movie is funny and it has a good story, it really doesn't get boring as the almost two hours pass. The only thing that I have to point out is that the trailer is one of the worst trailers I've ever seen, the movie looks soooo uninteresting that I wouldn't have watched it if I was the one picking the movie.
At first it was boring, I struggled to watch at least the first 5 episodes, but then it was getting better and by the end of the 13th episode I was wishing there were more to watch. I think it would have been cool if they continued the series based on the fact that Erin's daughter, Amy, is the antichrist, as it was revealed on the last episode.
Really liked the humor and story of these series, how all of the bad things can make you feel sad for the characters but at the same time make you laugh about how hilarious and tragic all is. I just didn't like the acting of the guy who plays Bob Barnard, he was too dramatic in some situations, and the episodes could have been more but shorter. Summing up: well worth the 9 hour watch.
Probably the best episode so far, in my opinion. Although Diane was always my favorite character and I first wanted her to be with BoJack, I really like Ana and it's always good to watch an episode where their relationship develops a little more. The conversations with the lady of the L.A. Gazette were good and interesting even though she just wanted him to renew the subscription of the newspaper. Also, that end of advertisement choice for the movie was hilarious, this show finally made me had a really good and true laugher and not just the regular giggle.
